While making an appearance on "SportsCenter," ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith decided to chime in on a Women's World Cup highlight.
Then he said something really dumb. Shocking, I know.
Smith joked German players allowed Norway to score a goal because "they might not have wanted to mess their hair up."
Sad but true fact: Miami Florida media this Saturday morning has extensive coverage of this.....not a SINGLE WORD about Obama's defeat in Congress yesterday.
THAT is now called sexist! the world is insane.
Oh, boy. Now we’re going to get fifty articles in places like Salon about “the new sexism” and “oppression in the sporting world” and whatever other complaints people like that can come up with.
Isn’t it great being a conservative and not being expected to read that crap?
Uh, women wear cups now? Maybe some of them do.
Otherwise, yawn.
Ohhh really sexist, better fire him and make him unemployable for life for such a terrible insult
Should have called them nappy-headed hos.
The outrage industry would have gone wild.
soccer players of the feminine gender wear “A” cups
Hope Solo will kick his arse!
“soccer players of the feminine gender wear A cups”
In the good old days, we would call that woman “flat”.
I guess that’s just another sexist term now...
It was microagression. “If you’ve been accused of not scoring a goal because you didn’t want to mess up your hair, take a step back.”
That’s not sexist?
Who watches women’s sports except the parents/friends of the participants?
If you make even the slightest insult toward a woman, you are ‘sexist’. Toward a black or Hispanic, you are ‘racist’. Toward a homosexual, you are ‘homophobic’. Toward global warming, you are a ‘denier’. The Left has created the perfect strategy to stifle free speech and debate.
I'm acquainted with one; she's a perfect 28 AAA.
My mistake...wrong cup.
Bump!
I can think of few things more borig than men’s soccer. Women’s soccer is one of them. Out of the 38 WC matches that have been played, 12 have ended in a draw, and most of the draws were 0-0 or 1-1 sleepfests. The really sad part is that many soccer ‘tards think that a tie is an acceptable strategical outcome. How sad is that?
The solution is a bigger goal.
And a smaller pitch so that they look like they are kicking the ball further.
This obviously means that all men are sexist bastards. Good reason to keep denying men jobs and college admissions.
