So much info and data has been stolen that the only ones who don’t know this info are the taxpaying American citizens (aka dupes-to-government-liars). Taxpayers can’t see any of this stuff because it is “secret”. Taxpayers can’t see congressional bills because they are “secret”. What a screwed-up world. We are surrounded by liars, thieves and idiots.

In what Rep Mike Rogers called "the mother of all spear-phishing attacks...."

Rogers may not understand the term "spear-phishing," which is a tailored e-mail fraud attempt that targets a specific individual or organization. Or maybe what he meant to say is that the theft of millions of federal and contractor files is likely to be *followed* by a massive wave of such attacks.

Watching politicians try to talk about IT security is painful.

It should say “Made in USA by Mexicans.”

What are the numbers for the percentage of US manufacturing jobs held by Mexicans?

I mean, what does that really mean anymore?

To Americans who have manufacturing jobs, plenty.

And yes, these companies have chosen to support a liberal social agenda.

If my choices are buying American and supporting leftist causes, or buying foreign, as long as I'm not helping to fund the Chinese military I may (and have) buy foreign.

As for quality, it depends on what you are buying. I want the best quality even if it is made on the other side of the world. Let everyone earn my business with the best quality for the price.

It sounds like you're talking about cars. There is no getting away from it, we have gone from having the top auto industry in the world to having only two domestic manufacturers - Fiat owned Chrysler doesn't count in my book. Thank you, UAW, for driving the US auto industry into the ground so that we can't even compete against foreign makes in our own market anymore.

I’m talking about everything. You want the business, earn it.

Here is a question to to consider and discuss. Did “free” trade give China the ability to pull this off?

Yes and we have several presidents in both parties that helped make it happen. You know issues like Unkie wining and dining with Chicoms while our plane forced down with secret equipment onboard and not so much as an ounce of sanctions to follow. No indeed we heard FTA FTA FTA FTA for years. I don't trust China and I don't trust politicians in a big hurry to appease them. You'd think Conservatives by now would have learned not to give any potential POTUS Candidate blind trust & unquestionable support to say go ahead we'll back you no matter what. "Trade Partners not Trade Patsies" {Ronald Reagan} We've been patsies since 1989. When will we learn?

You want the business, earn it.

OK, excluding the US auto industry because you and I would probably agree on that, what do American Veterans with manufacturing jobs have to do to convince you to buy their products over those made by Chinese slave labor?

LOL. Well, I did not have China in mind. I think they want to poison us and our pets.

I was thinking of Italian cashmere and leather goods, um....Columbian and Costa Rican coffees, Belgian chocolates, English dinnerware, French make-up, etc.
