But we still kid ourselves about the others.

Cruz co-wrote a pro trade legislation op ed with Ryan, and this week used the same “Don’t read everything you read on the Internet”-type excuse to deflect from the truth.

Walker pitched hard for the deal last night, too.

It’s hard to believe anyone could be so pathetic as to lose a debate to Joe Biden, which is what Paul Ryan did in the 2012 Vice Presidential debate.

Paul Ryan also failed to help the Republican ticket carry his home state of Wisconsin in the 2012 election.

Could anyone have been more useless to his party, both in 2012 and now, except for a double agent who was secretly working for the Democrats?

It sounds like you have far too much faith in what politicians can do.

Ryan's a typical Congressman. They aren't all geniuses and they can't walk on water.

It all makes more sense now.

It is why Mitt chose him.
It is why he lost the debate to Biden.

This Obamatrade thing. I think Ryan and Cruz are going on the flawed assumption that it will work when past trade agreements passed in this way have not. The problem is we have an unsustainable illusion of prosperity, currently, built on widening trade deficits. True too the EU was (and still is) much touted as a good thing by “conventional wisdom” which flies in the face of stubborn facts (which paint a very different picture). We’ve got idealism trumping reality with this bunch, and that is a recipe for nothing good. Better to face our challenges sooner rather than later.

Nope, he’s just the VP of the GOP-E.

Romney still is the leader.

Follow the money.

Paul Ryan is a little RINO weasel just like Eric Cantor. No difference.

When they do that you know they’ve been promised something. I’m guessing financial incentives of some sort.
