Would’t you think the pair had a plan a, b, and even c? Smart enough to plan an escape route, get and use power tools under the noses of their guards without detection....unless the guards were in on it or the warden, surely they had the brains to get away....

They are in the Adirondacks, the biggest state park in the U.S. About the size of Vermont. Very few people this time of year, lots of black flies. But if you know what your are doing, you can stay underneath the radar for quite some time.

I was checking this list, and it seems almost all of them are recaptured pretty quickly. There was only one recently that wasn’t recaptured, and they found him dead.

what I don’t get is these stories of guys escaping and not committing another crime for 30 or 40 years. why didn’t they just do that in the first place.
