Union: Hackers Have Personnel Data on Every Federal Employee

Hackers stole personnel data and Social Security numbers for every federal employee, a government worker union said Thursday, charging that the cyberattack on U.S. employee data is far worse than the Obama administration has acknowledged.

J. David Cox, president of the American Federal of Government Employees, said in a letter to OPM director Katherine Archuleta that based on OPM's internal briefings, the hackers stole military records and veterans' status information, address, birth date, job and pay history, health insurance, life insurance, and pension information; age, gender, race data.

"Based on the sketchy information OPM has provided, we believe that the Central Personnel Data File was the targeted database, and that the hackers are now in possession of all personnel data for every federal employee, every federal retiree, and up to one million former federal employees."

In previous administrations this could be considered an act of war.

Obama is giving our nation away to an Global Government. It is a "conspiracy theory." It is the truth.

For those Freepers who will cavalierly wave their hands and cheer that the "Federal employees got theirs!" - may I remind them that now that a foreign government possesses the most sensitive of personal data on the nation's Federal employees, there is absolutely nothing to now stop them from taking yours.

The only war Obama wants is one with the American people.

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

Think about it!

Obama wants this sensitive information out there for use in the public.

What better way to control government employees than through the ownership of their personal information by a global new world order, such as what ObamaTrade creates?

Zbigniew Brzezinski quotes in the 1970's book "Technotronic Era":

“The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”

This hacking is not by accident.

Obama is allowing the back-door to computer systems to be left open for this to happen.

IT IS ALL ABOUT CONTROLLING YOU!!!

The DNC is mad - they thought they had the exclusive right to access that data. :)

Blackmail some NSA squeefs and see how they like the results of excessive government data collection.

Excellent post with info from the WayBack archives.
Along with this hack, thousands of entities and Big data brokers freely disseminate your personal health care records without oversight (see: thedatamap.org)
Facebook and LinkedIn tell gubermint who you know and associate with.
And, your “smartphone”, Google, Waze and other Apps keep track of where you are and what you’re interested in.

What was initially sold as a convenience, will eventually be used for future control and conviction.

The VA can not find peoples records but a foreign nation waltzes through the files like they were guided by government employees.

That doesn't make sense. Once the information is out there in the public, it loses all value for Obama to "control" Federal employees.

Personally, I want whoever hacked and got all that information to release it PUBLICLY on WIKILEAKS or some other forum for all to see.

The rat bastards working inside the Government and working against us, the American Taxpayer have a whole bunch of blow-back headed their way. I for one will revel in that.

Now it's just another one of the hoods stealing our lunch money and knowing we won't do a damned thing about it.

The ONLY thing that would make this serious to Obama is if the Chinese had hacked in to Obama's sealed records. I don't think Obama cares one way or another about the hack otherwise.

I can not think of one reason why we are wasting money on ‘homeland security’... and I’m starting to have doubts about the FBI and NSA. Is there any protection for American citizen anymore? Billions spent... for nothing.

Not really. Think of all the deadhead jobs that are funded, complete with gold plated medical plans, and fat retirements. Think of the money as a "jobs program."

Maybe we can now figure out who BHO really is. More to the point, the US needs a Jack Bauer squad to quietly find these hackers and eliminate them. After a couple of dozen hits on the operators of these black web sites, some of this stuff would stop.
