He is not really dead. One day someone will pull out the wooden cross and he will be back!

Lee was involved as a British liaison to the Finns against the Soviets during the Winter War in 1939.

Anyone who hasn’t seen ‘The Wicker Man’ should do so post haste. It was Lee’s favorite of his own films. Quite good.

I did not know that but I am not surprised. Two years later he would have been on the other side of the line. Lee was also a Bond Villian in "The Man With the Golden Gun."

RIP MR. LEE, thank you. You shall always be remember as Dracula, and the best one too. Now you have joined your friends like Peter Cushing and Vincent Price.

I recall an interview with all 3 together. They were saying they did not like today’s horror because it was not horror. It was nothing but vulgarities, nudity and pure gore. That it why some have turned down offers. They stated you do not need to be explicit to scare people. You know they are right.

Loved his work over the years, but his best role was in “The Serial,” with Marin Mull.

And for god's sake make sure you see that version, not the awful 20006 remake with Nicholas Cage (Not the bees!!!). Interestingly, there's quite a bit of nudity in the 1973 original, but none in the remake.

I read he turned down Leslie Nielsen’s role as Dr. Rumack in “Airplane !” As good as Lee is, was, I think Nielsen worked better for this part.
