Hillary Clinton is asking supporters to chip in a buck. In an email this afternoon, Clinton writes, "I’m asking you to step up today, give just $1, and become a Launch Donor -- one of the tough, essential supporters who stood with me from the very beginning."
But Clinton says it's not about the dollar.
"It's not about the money. It's about knowing that when I step on the stage on Saturday, you’re with me. You have my back -- just like I’ll have yours."
The ask is a lot less expensive than the one Clinton is making of those who want to attend the fundraiser with singer Jon Bon Jovi. A ticket to that event costs between $1,000-$2,700.
Somebody should hook her up with “GoFundMe”

I’ve heard Hillary has had trouble fundraising.
Part of it could be that people think she doesn’t need money, what with the narrative that she is inevitable and all that.
And part of it could be that people think the Clintons have plenty of money, and why are they asking for money.
We should donate. This reminds me of your famous quote - “I’d pay a dollar to watch a monkey f#$* a football.”

That money they have is for the EMPIRE! It isn’t for use to get elected - she has to have other peoples’ money to do that. It is their way. NEVER USE YOUR OWN MONEY.

This is a rare case where Hillary is probably telling at least a half-truth. Because it's not about that $1.
It's about building a list of suckers, suckers who will later be hounded for much greater amounts.

The smartest woman in the world said Bill worked to “get us houses”. But she fails to mention that the houses were both mansions, one in New York and one in Washington, DC.
