"We do not need to sell ever more of America to the world. What we need is to turn our focus to re-growing America for a change."

I don't like Donald Trump.

But he's on the right side of two of the 3 or 4 most important issues in America today...Trade and Immigration.

Those two issues will have huge carry as this season matures.

"I don’t know how, but we HAVE to get Boner and Mitch out of there, and all the other RINO fascist pigs."

First, the GOP must die.

Everything else comes after that.

I may still vote for Cruz in the March primary, but I won’t be that sad when he is handily defeated. But no Jebbie for me, period

"Traitors."

Never forget and hope you one day have a chance to extract justice.

Like a primary vote, $300 to the opposition.

Or whatever suits your fancy.

The argument to congressmen should be succinct.

1) Nothing bad will happen if this TPP fails.

2) Many exceedingly bad things are thought to take place if Obama is given this power and he decrees the TPP without the vote of the senate.

3) If these exceedingly bad things do come about because of your vote, you will not only be stripped of office, but you and your entire family will lose their citizenship, be deported and denied reentry to the United States ever again, your names will be stricken from the rolls, everything you ever earned will be forfeit, and your name will be a curse on the lips of Americans for a generation.

I so agree with you.

Trump was not my original choice. I in fact was very much in favor of Ms. Palin. Who sadly until now, hasn’t made any move to act like she’s interested in running this time around.

But Trump is definately on the right side of trade and immigration. Further not only is nobody else currently saying these are important issues - there is nobody else in either party running at the moment who is so completely not for sale as Donald Trump is.

Sure he is all sorts of ego, but then again, what politician is different?

Trump seems to be the right guy, at the right place, at the right time.

He wants to bring back businesses to America.

A lot of Americans will enthusiastically support him, in this. Democrats and Republicans, both. In fact I believe we are about to see our party definitions dramatically alter in the next 10 years.

One party will continue to support globalizing.

Another party will start to ever-more-strongly, support bringing American interests back to America.

I believe Trump is the right guy, at the right time, with the right message.

So far, I am very much on his side.

"even as they rush to resolve a last-minute hangup over how to pay for aid to displaced workers".

So what we have here is a grand bargain for the American people: The corporations and business elite get to reap all the benefits of any potential deal, and the US TAXPAYER gets to pick up the costs, from a depleted treasury and depleted capital base.

Who the hell wouldn't vote for THAT deal?!?!?

After all, our GOP POTUS Candidates in the Senate did.

I totally agree!! This is not why we all worked and donated to get republicans into office in November.

They are rushing this because they know it is bad for our country and want to approve it for their big corporate donors before the average citizens realize this is another Obamacare.

Any candidate that votes to give this special power and make it so easy for Obama to screw us should not be allowed to stay in office or be free from constant scorn for the rest of their lives!

Everybody please light up the phone of your representative in the House.

House Switchboard Operator: 202-225-3121

Let them know voting for the TPA to give special powers to Obama is a complete deal breaker and you will not support any Republican if they vote for it. Or just general scream a lot, your choice.

You don’t even know what is in the bill.

I can understand if the bill was available to the public to read and you supported it.
But unless you have been given a secret copy to read, you are a very foolish person.
How can any congress critter vote for something they, nor the public have read?

This is most utterly corrupt Congress in my lifetime..

Bonehead, Mitchy , Ryan, Scalise, McCarthy, and Cruz all have been trying to ram this Evil Trojan Horse thru Congress.

I am tired of this lies and Spin .
You can NOT Amend it !
You can not debate it under Fast Track!

Why did our supposed Conservative Betray US and our Kids like Cruz and Ernest !

They're all owned by K Street and Billionaire Hedges Donors !

This is an OPEN ENDED Treaty !

It can be changed by Barry the Soros Agent and VJ and The entire radical left in the Slime House after the VOTE to dictate anything !,,,,,,

TREASON is what Drudge Called It !

Cruz and Rubio and their Billionaire Backers can Kiss there Pres Chances GOOD BYE !

Completely corrupt. I don’t know how, but we HAVE to get Boner and Mitch out of there, and all the other RINO fascist pigs.

Those are the wrong targets, FRiend. If this POS bill passes it will be because the rank & file GOP caucus wants it to. Many of those folks are from solid red districts.

They’re only voting for the crapola because they think they can get away with it. Had they been lit up after the Cromnibus fiasco this would never happen. Unfortunately, there is no organized conservative opposition to the corporatist GOPe right now. Not a single donor willing to spend big money attacking specific members of the GOPe now like Boehner’s K Street stooge PAC has done to conservatives. Until we get some fire power backing us, the GOPe will have free reign to collude with the Kenyan in the destruction of this country.

It’s not enough. Boehner relies on GOP incumbents from heavily red districts to carry the kenyan’s water for him. They love him because he catches all the flack while they cash the K Street checks. They’re not going to back unless they get carpet bombed with a lot more than phone calls.

I am neutral having not got emotionally involved.

If any Republican was president I would support it on general principles.

I consider Obama and all his peopleincompetent on matters of business

The senate will get a vote after the TPP has been made public for at least 60 days.
