For months now, the Transit Authority in New York City has been advertising their request that men riding trains, subways and buses keep their legs together when using mass transit. The sin is called “manspreading,” and it happens when a male passenger chooses to sit with their legs lightly spread apart forcing other passengers to have less room in their own seat.
Here’s an example of this heinous new form of "misogyny."

It’s disgusting. Pure and simple. The government in New York City has once again proven that they are willing to regulate and govern, even the most trivial of daily exercises. While “manspreading” may be annoying for other transit passengers – it is by no means a matter for the criminal justice system. Will fat people be arrested for having larger than normal rear ends? Will women who place their bags on their laps or in the seat next them also be accosted? Do skinny people get to have a whole seat to themselves – even if they fit in half a seat? Can a skinny person “manspread” if they don’t take up more than one seat of space? If so, does this mean that “manspreading” is okay – so long as you are not bothering those around you?
It’s patently ridiculous. Even for New York – home of the big soda and MSG bans. I know that New Yorkers enjoy it when the government tells them what to do, but it’d be nice if a few of them would stand up and tell their local masters to let them sit how they want to sit.
Also, the further they sit with their legs spread wide apart, the more their long legs and feet stick out in the aisle - endangering passengers; both men and women.

No I ? any human taking up 3 seats with a Manspread which was what my reply was about.
If some ones body takes up 3 seats they probably wouldn’t fit through the door.
What kind of human garbage is upset about “manspreading?” Who has so much time on their hands, and hate in their hearts, to imagine such a thing as criminalizing comfort? New York is a toilet that needs flushed.
Maybe the state should regulate the sugar intake of its citizens . . .
so people can have a seat on the bus..

Natural selection drivn by progressive policies will eliminate fat people. We will ba small like the Japanese.
New Yorkers are often very thin from all the walking. It’s more men who are tall and have long legs who do the rude seating.
What world do you live in? Human garbage? Tell that to a small woman who has to sit next to a rude man who takes up two seats and pushes her into a corner? Tell that to a man who has to sit next to a woman who has pushed her belongings into a seat and a half. It’s nonsense to criminalize this but manners are manners.

What about the female with a butt so wide she takes up two and a half seats? Will she be treated the same?
Build a “manspread” gauge once the crucial angle of spread has been determined. Have man spread monitors on all trains going from man to man measuring their angle of spread. For those that exceed the maximum permissible angle, shoot them on sight.
