The Secret Service really despises Democrat presidents, because unlike Republicans, Democrats cannot distinguish bodyguards from servants. They also tend to address them in demeaning and disparaging terms.
The Democrats assume that since they surround themselves with ingratiating political sycophants, toadies and lickspittles, that everyone around them is that way as well.
Carter actually resented his Secret Service agents, because they were living examples of what he was not. Of all their qualities, Democrats tend to deeply distrust honor, integrity, character, bravery and honesty.
Clinton was kind of a special case, because he was just as likely to demand Al Gore get him a cup of coffee or liquor as he was that a Secret Service agent do so. Al Gore did not appreciate this any more than the SS did.
The SS under Obama and his wife must have it very hard. Hillary was a shrieking harridan and harpy, Michelle must be an utter monster.

One thing few recognize is the all out and permanent assault on Jesus Christ. Marxism isn’t just an economic system, but a moral system for ordering human life. Control freaks and central planners cannot have any meddling from God.
Christianity is a moral system for ordering human life, but with individual choice and accountability. The only economic system it is compatible with is capitalism, if you want liberty. Under other systems you stick with Christianity because eternal salvation is more important.
Note that other religions default to tyranny, socialism, repression and central control.
Communism (liberalism, fascism, collectivism, government worship)
are all natural conclusions to “you will be as gods, deciding right and wrong for yourselves”.
IE, the root of leftwing ideology is Satanism.

Jimmy got me. He knows that I wake up every day wondering how I can keep the Black, Brown, Yellow and Red Man down.
In fact, I can’t enjoy my morning Coffee unless I have a smug feeling of Superiority.

Carter has a few flaws in his makeup including his inability to mind his own business. If he would have retired gracefully I might give him credit but he has been a real pain in the butt for 35 years!
