When socialism take absolute control and the abuses begin, it is the socialist professors and ‘intelligensia’ that recoil in horror at what is happening.
Of course, they are the first to be silenced by death or sent away to some camp that is the equivalent of death.
This happens with liberalism EVERY TIME it is tried.

A member of the intelligentsia is afraid of the Young Pioneers. How amusing.
First you took God out of your teaching and villified Judeo/Christian values leaving your students without morals or a place to far in their conscience.
Then you trained them to have no mind or gave them the right to have critical thinking of their own, to never question the liberal view, vilifying anything outside your liberal train of thought so badly that if they step outside the liberal thought they are racist,jackbooted NAZI's who should not have the right to speak much less live.(No moral stopping place) no matter what hoops a normal person would need to agree with the propaganda of the moment.
Then you taught them that killing the most innocent among us is an option....especially if they are deformed and is it not correct that anybody outside the perfect liberal mindless thought process is deformed?
Then you taught the anything good is evil and all that is evil should be the norm even though studies show it causes insanity, or addiction.
Liberal sites on the internet call for killing conservatives or reeducating them.....and you wonder why these people terrify you? You took your own safety away by denying children God and a moral compass....who could have seen that one coming....
i saw it written somewhere the other day (and i kind of like it) that this is an example of “the weaponization of outrage”. i didn’t know about all of this “triggering” nonsense until just a couple of years ago, but young millenial SJWs (social justice warriors) are genuinely being taught that any speech which in any way offends them can and should be shut down as impermissible simply by decrying it as “triggering”. kids are really being taught twaddle these days in school. it’s why i don’t think anything we do matters anymore. this country is lost forever once the millenials rise to positions of power. it’s a generation of (mostly) idiots. there are exceptions, but not too many. i hold out no hope anymore. :(
