Seems like if you admit anyone under twenty-one is too immature to smoke or drink.....they ought to be too immature to vote or marry. Same logic.

So is this just for the purchase of tobacco, or the smoking of it as well?

As a child of smokers, I have never smoked or wanted to. I find tobacco disgusting, and the medical evidence that it causes cancer is clear and convincing. However, 18 is adult. Government should get out of the way and allow them to make their own bad decisions.
