WASHINGTON - The White House is confident it can still pursue Iran nuclear talks despite US Secretary of State John Kerry's injury over the weekend, a spokesman said on Monday.
Kerry left Europe for the United States earlier on Monday after breaking his leg in a cycling accident on Sunday.
"We do continue to believe that we have the time and resources necessary to pursue, and hopefully complete, the Iran negotiations," White House spokesman Josh Earnest told reporters in a briefing. He added that Kerry would continue to play a critical role in the talks, although it was unclear exactly what his capacity to participate would be in the coming weeks.
Kerry will be one leg of the talks...
This sounds absurd. Seems like an excuse of some kind. They do not have good doctors in Europe? Something is missing here.
Probably wants to go to the DR that did his hip.

Obama only wants a translator and a stenographer in the “talks” from the US side anyhow.
If the stenographer knows the language, Obama is happy to “negotiate” with a single representative from the US. He’d probably be fine if Iran just wrote the treaty and sent it to him but but that may make him look like he’s not trying.
They could have taken him over to Landstuhl, or found a dozen great French hospitals. Either there’s some really serious damage or he’s going to be on five-star pain-killers for a week or two.
Now, when Kerry wheels into these talks, we can wish him good luck, by saying “Break a ‘nuther leg.” That’s showbiz!
Just substitute a grinning, bobble-headed doll dressed in a dark suit. The sort of toy that is constantly shaking his head ‘Yes!”.
Negotiations will continue close to the same way John Kerry did them.

Let me stop you right there. It has very little to do with “incompetence”, “inexperience”, or anything like that. People like Obama and John Kerry are the enemy within. They do most of the damage they’re doing DELIBERATELY. America has basically been hijacked by the enemy, by 60s-era communists, and their offspring.
Maybe we could send Trump or Cruz to stand in and finish the negotiations!
At least them, we would get a fair deal, or, if the Iranians don’t agree, go ahead and blow the hell out of all their nuke facilities (that allegedly don’t exist!).
