The White House is in a state of shock today after receiving word that the US is halfway to a new recession. They were so dazed, they actually blamed Man Made Global Cooling. The GDP for the first quarter was originally announced as a gain of .2%. Today that number was revised to a drop of .7%. The definition of a recession is when the GDP comes in at a negative number for two quarters in a row. That means we are officially halfway to a new recession.
The delicious irony is that after Obama decided to honor our troops by having his picture taken eating ice cream and declaring that global warming is a bigger danger to the US than ISIS, he blamed the bad numbers on extremely cold and snowy weather. (His administration also believes Patriots are a bigger danger than ISIS..DHS determines that people who love their country and constitution are more dangerous than ISIS.) That’s right. The incredibly late winter weather that included tons of snow and bitterly cold weather , which was cause by global warming (chuckle) destroyed The One’s perfect economy. Illegal aliens don’t know where their next food stamp is coming from.
Jason Furman, the Chairman of Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, also said that if congress would only pass the TPP, it would lead to more exports and a better economy. Really? We can compete abroad with countries who let the market decide on prices and labor costs as our country moves to a $15 dollar “living wage” for the few people left with jobs. I think it’s more likely we would improve the ecomies of the other countries in the TPP, than our own. It will also allow Obama to bring in an unlimited amount of new immigrants. WARNING. WARNING. Just as blacks complained “socialist” was the new “N word”, I maintain that blaming “global warming” is akin to blaming white people. We refuse to be herded into gubmint housing, like to drive our own vehicles, and generally don’t let government determine our behavior.
Too many people still see his failures as failures. Quite the opposite, this is exactly what his plan has been all along since he promised to "fundamentally transform" the greatest country on earth, into a socialist/communist hellhole.
People would be better served if they would realize this and quit attributing his destruction of America as some sort of ineptitude on his part. It is our inability to see the real Oz behind the veil that is the problem.

I still can’t believe that America elected him twice. It’s obvious he cares less and less every day. The ironic thing is that the MSM will play up his legacy, trumpeting decline as prosperity.

Even Marx says that the main goal is never socialism. Socialism is just an interim solution on the pathway to communism. But Marx never lived to see the reality of communism, which always evolves into serfdom for the common folk. Obama and his cronies know what the end result will look like and they are anxious to see it happen.
Not disputing the piece, but I thought the definition of recession was three consecutive economic contractions?

Since it is classified and I don’t even know what TPP stands for I will have to assume it refers to Toilet Paper Protocol. I suppose, on the other hand, it could be Totally Pathetic Practices or Tarzan’s Political Party. Maybe it is Tuesday’s Pointless Proposal.

The Bible stressed the sin of lying and the love of truth as much as it stresses love. Jesus refers to himself as “…the Truth”. Without truth, there is no basis for trust. A lying nation is a dying nation.
I do believe you are absolutely correct and a huge percentage of America either is too naive to figure it out or simply refuses to see it. There is still a great desire out there to believe that we will be saved by the ballot box of “democratic” elections. Those who still want to believe that have never understood that this nation was never intended to be a democracy and the farther we move toward a defacto democracy the less chance there is to ever climb out of the hole we are in. The Republic is gone. The Republic was doomed when we passed amendments to allow direct election of senators and give the vote to anyone over the age of 18. Our elections now have little more meaning than an election in Cuba.
