Baltimore's $20 Million Federally Financed Riots

05/28/2015

Accountability: After encouraging rioters to lay waste to Baltimore, the city's mayor now says she's confident she can get Uncle Sam to pay for the damage. What is this, the new age of federally financed riots?

One month after the race riots that trashed Baltimore, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake said that the city would apply for a $20 million Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant to replenish the "rainy day fund" being used to pay for cleanup and police overtime costs in the wake of the mayhem that she herself is on record as encouraging.

"In order to replenish this fund, we've already worked with the state to apply for a federal FEMA reimbursement, and we are confident that we will receive a significant reimbursement from the federal government," CBS Baltimore affiliate WJZ reported her as saying Wednesday.

NYPD detective and regular Fox News contributor, Pat Brosnan told Neil Cavuto that Mayor Blake contributed to the violence and has “blood on her hands” after the death-toll over the weekend.

“It’s a standard cause and effect. [Rawlings-Blake] disempowered the police and empowered the thugs with her statement to look the other way and let those who want to destroy things destroy on their own.”

According to Newsmax, he went on to explained, “that empowerment declawed the police, and she has blood on her hands, because that rhetoric, that order … was a contributing factor in these consequences.”

As TRN reported during the mayhem, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake admitted in a press conference that she gave instructions for police to give “those who wished to destroy” the “space” to do so…

And destroy they did.

Dozens of storefronts were smashed, hundreds of cars vandalized and countless businesses looted. In addition, 159 fires were set, destroying dozens of buildings, including a home for senior citizens.

She reaped what she sowed. So now guess who she wants to pay for it.

YOU!

That’s right. The city wants to send the bill to FEMA and have all the rest of us pay their bill.

It is called wealth transfer. One puts blacks in charge and they pay themselves with our wealth. They can never produce their own wealth so they take the wealth of others. Why be surprised?

Baltimore Received $1.8 Billion from Obama’s Stimulus Law

City burned despite ‘massive investment’ implemented by president

The city of Baltimore received over $1.8 billion from President Barack Obama’s stimulus law, including $467.1 million to invest in education and $26.5 million for crime prevention.

President Obama claimed last Tuesday that if the Republican-controlled Congress would implement his policies to make “massive investments in urban communities,” they could “make a difference right now” in the city, currently in upheaval following the death of Freddie Gray.

There’s little difference between a Baltimore negro rioter and a tribe of Kikuyu Mau Mau.

Divide the $1.8 billion by the number of people residing in the Baltimore city limits. (i’m too lazy to do it. Sorry!)

Oh yea, she didn’t give them a safe space to destroy, yet somehow, the cops did stand down.

Why shouldn’t the FED pay?

The FED (Obama officials, including Lynch and Sharpton) were advising the Mayor and city attorney. Sharpton even showed up in person.

This is from The Community Organizer. This is what he does.

Recession Looming? Economy Back to Square One

On Friday, the United States Bureau of Economic Analysis released its revised economic report for the first quarter of 2015 – and in a “surprising” and “unexpected” twist (surprising and unexpected only because Barack Obama is president and the media are constantly surprised that the Sun God cannot rain gold from the heavens), the GDP dropped -0.7%.

There is an old leftist expression. The worst things get, the better they get.

The more mayhem and civil unrest, the more opportunities to deconstruct American society. Government dysfunction begets more money, more control and more tyranny.

Five Chicago Suburbs Headed for Bankruptcy (More Illinois Cities Will Follow)

Illinois House Bill 298 would allow Illinois municipalities to file for Chapter 9 bankruptcy. That bill is endorsed by Governor Bruce Rauner, and currently rests in the house rules committee.

As soon as Illinois passes Bill 298, a number of Illinois cities are highly likely to file bankruptcy as noted by Bond Buyer in Illinois’ Candidates for Municipal Bankruptcy.

If HB298 was enacted, which local governments might use the new bankruptcy option? To help answer this question, our team reviewed audited financial statements that all but the smallest municipalities must file. Most of these financial audits can be found on the state comptroller’s local government Finance Warehouse.

She is a political thug herself the way she handled everything.

IMO she will do her community a service by leaving her current job and going to some local community college to teach Stupidity 101 as an expert on the topic.

Since she was probably following Dear Leader’s orders, she’ll probably get the money and there’s no way the GOP will object.
