Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) said Wednesday that Sen. Rand Pauls (R-Ky.) belief that Republicans are partially responsible for the emergence of Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) terrorists should disqualify him from being president.
This is a perfect example of why Senator Paul is unsuited to be Commander-in-Chief, Jindal said in a statement. We have men and women in the military who are in the field trying to fight ISIS right now, and Senator Paul is taking the weakest, most liberal Democrat position.
It's one thing for Senator Paul to take an outlandish position as a Senator at Washington cocktail parties, but being Commander-in-Chief is an entirely different job, he continued. We should all be clear that evil and Radical Islam are at fault for the rise of ISIS, and people like President Obama and Hillary Clinton exacerbate it.

So we should forget Senator John Mcain’s meetings with ISIL leadership in Syria a couple of years ago?
Paul should be running in his own party i.e. liberaltarian and stop pretending to be a conservative or even a republican. He should also shut up about telling us what we should accept as conservatives when he is not one.
Iraq was doable [according to Wolfowitz] so we wanted to take over a country in the mid-east and make a democracy there and get a friend for us and Israel. The military-industrial complex, pushed by Cheney, wants war anywhere, anytime, anyplace, against anybody. Nothing has changed.

For an “A” Bobby, just go back and eliminate the word, “radical.”
Stand back! He’s lashing out!
Spoken like a true Paulistinian.
You don’t seem to be aware of the fact that Iraq violated 16 consecutive UN Security resolutions. Those resolutions are legally binding. They also kicked out WMD weapons inspectors and would not let them return. the UN itself passed Resolution 660, giving Iraq 1 final opportunity to cooperate with the international community. Iraq failed to do any of what was asked. Saddam also fail to complete his obligations after his withdrawal from Kuwait years earlier.
THAT is why Iraq was invaded.
Did Paul Wolfowitz convince over 40 other nations to join us because “Iraq was doable”? Was that his argument to them?
And exactly what did Cheney authorize? What power did he have that Bush or the UN did not have?
The rest of your comment about war anytime, anywhere is drivel.
You seem to be brain washed by UN resolutions binding on us.
Huh, have you been getting info from the conspiracy Paul websites or something?
If Jindal runs and splits the anti-Paul vote further, risking a possible Rand Paul win, does that mean his warnings aren't sincere or serious?
Really? Those resolutions were against Iraq and signed by every member of the Security Council. As a member of the security Council that obligates us to take action if thse resolutions demand action.
Look, I don’t like the UN any more than you or the next guy, and I don’t like the way the war was conducted, but Iraq wasn’t some cornered puppy. And all of this garbage about Wolfowitz, Cheney and Israel is total nonsense. Would it be better if we just shrugged and walked away? Not likely.
Pretty stunning news. Why Bush went all dark on the facts, I’m sure I don’t know.
I do recall seeing a satellite version of trucks going into Syria at an opportune time to prove they were weapons grade delivery trucks that were making a delivery, so unless they were faked it is a hard guess as to why the film of it and the truth of the matter was smothered, in favor of the Democrat version that buried Bush and Republicans for two elections so far. Inexplicable.
People presume the worst when the truth is buried for a decade or two, and when even our candidates decline to resurrect it, and defend it.
Thank you for the links. Rita
Has Walker participated?
Radical Islam and the goal of a world wide Caliphate is responsible for the rise of ISIS. They already existed when we invaded Iraq. They are composed of the former Taliban. Their goals began hundreds of years ago.
You are incorrect. It was common knowledge in Iraq that the WMDs were transported into Syria in the build up to our invasion. Many of the soldiers I’ve talked to knew about it, including my son who served there. Satellite footage shows large transport trucks leaving facilities where they were stored in the weeks prior.
My son and many other soldiers who served there said it was common knowledge about the huge transport of WMDs to Syria in the build up to the war.
Yeah, he’s made some comments about other candidates being unqualified- As soon as he does he sounds weak and whiny
Reagan had a point
