For her first official interview to promote her newest book, Adios, America, Ann Coulter decided to sit down with Jorge Ramos for a town hall-style interview that include what has to be one of her all-time most awkward TV moments.
At one point, immigration activist Gaby Pacheco stood up and asked if she could give Coulter a hug. After the conservative pundit laughed and said she was recovering from the worst flu shes ever had, Pacheco did not back down, saying that she still wanted the hug as a sign of my humanity and yours.
No, lets get on with the question, Coulter replied, shutting that whole thing down for good. Pacheco did move on to her next question, but not before noting that in the same scenario she did received a hug from Arizonas Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Some people have standards.
Ooops - sorry. This particular wide load is from Ecuador.
Just planned political absurdism for some symbolic point. I wouldn’t have hugged her at all save the possibility of restraining the bitch some courageous authorities that would deport her ass.
We’re supposed to “hug” illegal aliens now? Hey! I think that’s taking this new American patriotism bull**** a little too far!!!
Ann was afraid she would get lost in one of Gaby’s belly rolls and never be found.
Over 20 years... without being ‘documented’?
Someone needs to ask them ... ‘In all that time, how much money did you MAKE without paying any taxes-AND how much have you received in ‘assistance’ from Americans who DO pay taxes?’
It really fries me to think what I would have and where I’d be, if I could have kept ALLLLLLL the money I earned over twenty years.
WARN a body next time! JAYSUS!
Ann should have told her I’m not questioning your humanity I’m questioning your residency.
“...immigration activist Gaby Pacheco...”
An illegal alien invader has the gall to stand up and activate and we don’t arrest her.
Let a TEA Party member get anywhere near a govt elite and see them arrested. It’s coming to a head. I hope I am able to contribute. I am ready.
Why should she hug her? As the great Terry Anderson used to say, (when people would tell him, “I don’t blame the poor illegals for coming here, I blame the employers” etc., etc.,) “If you lace up your boots, go and sneak across the border into my country, you are my enemy.” Why should Ann hug someone who has no respect for our country or its laws, who is selfishly stealing from Americans every single day she stays here?
Why don't wet...sorry,undocumented Mexicans...have the same attitude toward *our* border?
Hugs?
Is she one of them touchy feely peaceniks that thinks hugs solve every problem?
I hug my kids... my dogs... my relatives... my (female) friends. I don’t hug dudes and I don’t hug complete strangers. I don’t care how many flowers they are wearing in their hair.
Hug them. Learn their language and speak it. Exclusively. Give them our tax money let their kids get into all colleges above ours get scholarships above ours pay in state tuition while we wait two years while we are characterized by the anything for the hatred of America media as being uncharitable. It won’t stop until it is stopped.
I would not let anyone intimidate me into doing anything I didn’t want to do. Yes, hugs included. Where did this woman expect to find herself? On Jerry Springer?
guilty
It is coming to a head where it will be akin to wartime where residents are required to offer food and shelter to soldiers.
I can imagine one day where it will be unlawful to turn away an ILLEGAL alien invader and we are required to take them into our homes and feed them. It will be unlawful to ask them to leave.
Not too long ago, I would have thought an idea like this would be absurd. But now... it is completely plausible.
They are NOT undocumented immigrants.
Immigrants apply to be Americans, wait their turn, comply with the laws.
FRAUDULENTLY DOCUMENTED FOREIGNERS DON’T!
It was a ploy, plain and simple. That is all it was.
People like her think that if they can “humanize” illegal aliens, then people will feel differently about it.
Ann was right not to step into it.
