Forget Putin. Forget the EU. Forget our State Department, which was second only to the former Bolshevik Comintern in meddling in other peoples' internal affairs. (I am specifically referring to our State Department's working to overthrow Conservative Governments, in the days of Dean Rusk, for example; certainly not our actions to help people resist Communist takeovers.)

It is a basic principle of the Law of Nations, all the way back to Vattel, that every nation must be the judge of its own internal affairs.

Repression? What is more repressive than allowing foreign meddlers to undermine your culture?

See http://foreignpolicy.com/2014/07/25/sri-lankas-ngo-clampdown/

But this started befor the war was over. The folks in the UN were screaming at them to stop winning and negotiate.

A Childhood friend that worked for the UN at one time gave me a big hint one time - I asked how long the UN would be in Yugoslovia/Bosnia - his reply - they won’t ever leave - too many peoples jobs depend on the problem continuing.. That was a decade ago - they are still there.

One last bit - to those that don’t get that NGOs are almost always evil corrupted sewage headed by deamons - Read jim Rogers book ‘Adventure Capitalist’ - his comments from his observations fro driving around the world make it clear.

NGO - dispite the name are often funded by governments - and it is often about cover for charity scams as well as dirty political garbage. Read about the Clinton’s NGO in Haiti if you have any doubt.
