BRUSSELS (Sputnik) – Islamic extremists in Belgium have publicly threatened to kill the mayor of the Belgian city of Antwerp, Bart De Wever, if he does not convert to Islam, local media reported Monday.
A sign written in French stating threats against de Wever, who is also the head of the nationalist political party the New Flemish Alliance, was placed on one of the main squares of Antwerp. Experts are currently assessing the seriousness of the action and the message.
“I always warned that we will not get rid of the threat from Islamic extremists in the near future. This was ignored for years. This wound became apparent now with [the current developments in] Syria and will fester for a long time before we will get rid of it,” de Wever said.
Throughout his political career, De Wever has repeatedly received threats. The Belgian government has provided him with security guards at state expense. In the light of advance of the Islamic State (ISIL) terrorist group in the Middle East and a number of ISIL-inspired terrorist attacks in Europe, the European Union has currently seeing a surge in anti-Islamization sentiment...

I happened to have been coreced into listening to an NPR screed (riding in a Leftist's car and having no control over the dial).
The screed was about German students and their ideological attitudes. In voice after voice, the German students were expounding on how national pride is bad, nothing is worth fighting for, and patriotism goes against the fabric of humanity.
If the German spirit was that effectively destroyed, no other people in Europe could last.
Bad headline. They are not “extremists”; they are, as Al Qaida, ISIS/ISIL, HAMAS and Boko Haram, the true face of Islam. Convert, submit or die.

The U.S. Dept of Homeland Security was consulted and they immediately responded that this threat has nothing to do with Islam, it is the JV threat of a lone wolf, the reissuance of "Innocence of Muslims" inflamed tensions, and everybody should go back to their normal daily lives.

The Muslim immigrants are averaging four children per couple as opposed to 1.2 or so for the native populations. Muslims in France and elsewhere know its just a matter of a decade or two before demographics decide the issue.
Only a Christian revival could stop the Europeans from buggering/aborting themselves out of existence and give them the cultural confidence to fight for their heritage. It’s worth praying for.
The odds are at least 50/50 that an atomic attack on a U.S. city would cause the U.S. to unconditionally surrender to ISIS and replace the Constitution with the Koran. Government-issue prayer rugs will be available at your nearest FEMA mosque.

I don’t even know if that will do it. I remember right after Sept, 11th on Sept. 12th liberals were already saying “Now let’s not do anything rash...” They were defending Islamos. Plus how many terror attacks has this country endured, embassies, Marine barracks, ships, marathons, on and on blown up, attacked, and liberals act shocked for 2 seconds and then they are right back to defending Islamo Nazis. Look at Benghazi, WHILE it was happening they were defending them.
Like I was telling another freeper last week, liberals do not care unless it happens to them personally, meaning if they are attacked or their family member is attacked. Yoko Ono Opposes Parole for John Lennon’s Killer

“Yoko Ono will again oppose the release of the man who nearly 30 years ago killed her husband, former Beatle John Lennon, and who comes up for parole next month, her lawyer said.
Ono has consistently opposed parole for Mark David Chapman and has again sent a letter to the parole board, her lawyer, Peter Shukat, told the Daily News.
“Her position has not changed,” Shukat said in an article published Tuesday.”
