Witness: ‘It was a setup from start to finish’ (Waco Bikers)
Dallas Morning News ^ | 05/24/2015 | Tim Madigan and Kevin Sullivan (WaPo)

WACO — Richie was the first to die, then Diesel, then Dog.

Whatever else they were in life, the men with the biker nicknames were Cossacks, loud and proud and riders in a Texas motorcycle gang. And that’s what got them killed, shot to death in a brawl with a rival gang in the parking lot of a Texas “breastaurant” that advertised hot waitresses and cold beer.

“I saw the first three of our guys fall, and we started running,” said their brother-in-arms, another Cossack, who said he was there a week ago when the shooting started at the Twin Peaks restaurant.

...

In several interviews in recent days, the Cossacks rider offered a different story. He said the Cossacks were invited to the Twin Peaks patio that day — by a Bandido leader, who offered to make peace in a long-running feud between the two gangs. That invitation was a setup for an ambush, though, according to the Cossack. That’s why the dead included six Cossacks, one Scimitar (an ally of the Cossacks) and only two Bandidos.

The biker’s story could not be independently verified; most of those involved in the shootout are still in jail. But significant parts of his account square with police statements, as well as security camera videos obtained by The Associated Press.

The JBT boot lickers have come out in force to salute the SWAT team for their fine marksmanship in wiping out a dangerous meeting of outlaw bikers.

And this forum now has a bumper crop of them. Do you remember like it used to be, way back when?

With similar snark and certitude as an article from Salon, numerous Freepers conflate the Baltimore/Ferguson riots with the Waco incident, the only distinction being Freepers unquestioningly siding with the cops as opposed to the "rioters".

The Waco thing doesn't smell right, but I am waiting to see what news trickles out. They will have a hard time keeping 170ish people from filling in the details the cops may have hidden.

You would be surprised what a quieting effect a threat of being prosecuted for felony murder if they open their mouth can have on them.

“If the PD spin was true, we’d have already seen videos from ten angles.”

Yep. You nailed it. This was some sort of government setup... Don’t know what kind or over what (and I seriously doubt we will ever know), but it obviously was. The outrageous bail, arresting everybody in site, confiscation of property, and all deaths being from government weapons: just too much to swallow.

It’s a bit like the police: Most are good guys while some are slime. The trick is to recognize which is which before TSHTF. As the Knight said in that Indiana Jones movie, “choose wisely.” When they all look alike it’s damned difficult.

“The Cossack, president of a North Texas chapter of the motorcycle gang, asked not to be identified”

Ya...that’d be hard to figure who this is......

Thanks for not giving his name and address.....

Yes, the thousands of North Texas chapter Cossack clubs will NEVER be able to figure out who this non-existent guy is... LOL! :)

What, are there 3-4 at the MOST, if not just a single one?

We don't know that for sure, do we?

I'm waiting patiently for the perforation size report, but it's interesting that the .govgunthugs are taking their sweet time about releasing that information...

Do you remember that Oswald fellow?

Just asking.

I suspect this is the precise narrative that is being constructed. We must remove attention from the racial war being waged against the majority In this country by discussing the fringe of the fringe in biker gangs. No one I know in the Bandidos organization is involved in drug trafficking or aligned with the Mexican drug cartels

I have little doubt that some others are. And that some within our government are as well, but not all priests are pedophiles and it’s unlikely that 170 killers all showed up in the same bar at the same time.

Yep, that looks like a group of my friends; to some ninety year old veterans they look like some type of counter culture group which many still use the term “hippy” to describe. I am not sure that they consider it to have a negative connotation.

Waco police spokesman Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said the shooting started in the parking lot with a confrontation over what he called a parking issue.

Was that before or after he said it started in the restroom. He also claimed ( http://www.kwtx.com/home/headlines/Waco-Shooting-Near-Twin-Peaks-In-Waco-304043711.html ):

Swanton walked through the restaurant earlier Wednesday “When you enter through the doors, it is just an eerie feeling knowing what occurred there, he said. “There was blood everywhere, evidence in the bathroom.” “It's a pretty traumatic looking scene,” he said. "It's almost surreal.” “There's blood splatter blood evidence everywhere there still food on the tables half eaten hamburgers half-drunk margaritas. It's the most surreal thing I've ever seen." after all was said and done he entered the restaurant to an atmosphere of blood soaked creepy scary.

So, which is it, huh? Was it only outside or did it go from outside to inside to back outside or what? And who's bullets caused the blood inside? It couldn't have been the SWAT team already stationed on the roofs shooting into the restaurant, huh?

The most surreal thing he's ever seen? He got commendation for his aftermath help with that surreal Mount Carmel thing I http://www.nicp.net/?page_id=45 ). Not many people get two 15 minutes of fame.

But I do agree with Mr. No Name North Texas Cossack President or Mr. No Name Police Op that there was indeed a set up but not sure by which side and who was in cahoots with whom and which side the foot runner overer is on.

Hey, how’s the weather in your neck of the woods? Any flooding or evacuations? We’re fine but keeping an eye out.

I think my favorite line from the Conservative Treehouse article about the WaPo article is this:

"...and some of the construct is hearsay related from a third party the [Washington] Post was unable to reach..."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm dyin', here!

Oh, so young Sgt. Swanson wasn't one of the spokesholes for the women & children BBQ back in 1993 - he was a SWAT jackboot, apparently.

Guess fried little kids aren't "surreal" to the Einsatzgruppen...

This story just gets more convoluted all the time.

According to this; 170 people there were either Cossacks or Bandidos. What about all the other club members and independents? Had they simply not arrived yet except for the Vietnam vet who was shot?

This story doesn’t add up because there were a lot of people out on the patio on the other side of the restaurant.

If true though it not only lets the cops off the hook it puts the spotlight right on the Bandidos to the point where they could be arrested just for being a member under the RICO act.

Should be interesting to see where the narrative goes next.

Looks like Team Jade Helm no longer has an organized gang of armed bikers to worry about as they infiltrate the “HOSTILE” state of Texas. Head shots are indicative of police/SWAT action.

Most nowadays try to remain low key, blend in, while being aware etc.

Others like bike clubs have this need to follow, the join up mentality, be in a club, have rules imposed, wear flashy patches, announcing to the world what they’re all about. All in the hope of belonging to something bigger will make them bigger or somehow feared or respected.

It’s all pretty stupid sh*t.

I thought that this narrative was to direct folks’ thinking a certain way, especially being released through WaPo. I still do not believe that we have enough information to be sure.

A setup egged on by a police informant? Or just the natural tendency of Bandidos to mark their territory?

The last large group of bikers I was around was before Chris Kyles’ funeral. At least 200 bikers formed an honor guard for the funeral procession. Most were older and veterans of one conflict or another. Many were Christian. None were looking for trouble except from the East Coast media.

Regarding weather, southern Dallas has had plenty of rain, about 4” in my area. Small tornadoes around us but none within two miles.
