I got to see Emmylou and Rodney last night here in Kerrville. The show was rained out at the Folk Festival so they set up in the lobby of the YO Hilton and did 2 solid hours of hits and many tunes from the new album.
After the show a local Kerrville veteran got to speak with her - Emmylou's father and this man were in the same prison camp in Korea in 1952. Very touching scene. Emmylou was visibly moved.
