Prepare to say goodbye to TLC show “19 Kids and Counting.”
The family-centric reality show is being pulled from the network’s TV schedule one day after Josh Duggar issued an apology following molestation allegations, Page Six has learned.
It’s unclear if the network has made any permanent decisions regarding the show’s future but information about the show remains on the network’s site as of Friday.

Also, if a male is unable to learn the social skills to socialize with females, it can stunt his personal growth.

I’m not defending him. He has done wrong, but I am keeping his sin in perspective with what the Bible teaches that we should be doing about those who do sin.
Whether you want to accept it or not, the unwillingness to forgive sin is considered a greater sin than the offense itself. Those who won’t forgive will not be forgiven.
Josh socialized with a houseful of females every day.
Moreover lack of socializing with non family females doesn’t cause normal 14yr boys to fondle their 4yr old sisters.
There are a lot of families of similar belief and size in the Duggar circle, it’s not like Josh was never around females at all.

Only completely perfect people are allowed on here. So a kid at 14/15/16 years old does something wrong and his whole life and that of his entire family has to go to Hell. Sounds like Muslim logic to me.

NORMAL boys deprived of socialization with appropriate age females are just awkward around them.
They don’t become aroused by 4yr olds.
I assumed when I heard this rumor years ago that he’d been caught heavy petting with one of the Holt girls (their families were really close for a while and then poof, no more contact) or some other girl, and given the strict upbringing everyone concerned flipped. out. I had no idea it was this particular behavior and that one of the victims was nowhere near the age you’d expect a 14yr old boy to be aroused by.

Being curious is not necessarily being aroused. He was on a bad path which would have resulted in a very bad ending had it continued.
His father had a serious chat with him and it seemed to stop at that point. This is part of my consideration, whether or not he stopped at the point of that conversation.
Unless there is evidence that he continued, in which case I do not sympathize with him being dropped into the deepest hole, he needs to be considered as having repented.
No one is excusing this young man, but what he did was done when he was 14!
Before you throw those stones, try to remember what you were doing....thinking....at 14.

I can tell you for certain that at age 14 my moral compass included the certain knowledge that molesting my younger siblings was VERY wrong and inexcusable.
Perhaps that knowledge came later to you?
Pedophiles can repent. Most do at some point.

You are attempting to rationalize sin. This is a futile endeavor. Sin cannot be rationalized.

And ‘being curious’ is something a 5yr old boy would do to their 4yr old sister while playing doctor.
A 14yr old fondling their 4yr old sister while she sits on his lap being read to isn’t ‘curious’. It’s pathological.
