23 U.S. Veterans Are About To Take The ISIS Problem Into Their Own Hands In An Epic Way

A U.S. Army Iraq war vet plans to take a team of veterans back to the Middle East to fight the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

Sean Rowe, of Jacksonville, Florida, served on active duty in the Army for 8 years, which included two tours in Iraq. He said he can no longer sit by and do nothing.

“This is something I feel compelled to do,” Rowe said. “Women and children are being slaughtered over there. They need our help. I know we can make a difference.”

Rowe started Veterans Against ISIS to take the fight to the terrorists on their own turf.

“There is absolutely no advantage to making something like this public beforehand - none.”

How about raising money and “acquiring” weapons and supplies?

Right, because our standard military is busy fighting climate change.

Yes, you have a point.

But if that’s true (and now that you mention it, it probably is), it seems that it could have been quietly communicated to the ‘right’ people/organizations who can make the necessary resources available to them, instead of going public, where (you know who) could sabotage the whole operation.

Still, I will hope and pray for their success and safety. They deserve all the support they can get from all of us.

Their motives and intentions aside, I expect that they will have difficulty in exiting this country to do what they want to do. My guess is they’ve already been flagged by DHS. It may be they get to any airport to leave the country and they will find something wrong with their passports or they are on the no-fly list. Obama and his ilk are just that evil.

Yes, they need resources. Also a secure rear area for logistics and medical support. Their greatest danger would be betrayal so they must go with a reliable sponsor(!). My advice would be to seek support from the Syrian or Saudi government. Preferably Syria. They could operate out of a port. Syria is full of foreigners and Assad isn’t going to worry about any stigma in using them. He’s already using Iranian Hezbollah.

Nope. Quite a few foks have already left and are fighting with the YPG. No real political blowback at this point—but look for Valjar to jump in if they start winning.

Well....that’s a good thing I guess. At some point when they do become an inconvenient truth, Obama will come crushing down though....

Fighting ISIS in Syria actually assists the Syrian-Iranian axis. Syria would be their greatest ally. They should start their fight there for numerous reasons. They can hook up with spooks in the lounge bars of some of the nicer hotels in the region. The state security offices of some nations have a penchant for holding meetings with Western intelligence officers in hotel bars. They have no qualms within their society for that. When the bar is empty except for a table with 2 or more Arabs in suits and some Western guys -bingo. The locals know what they are and do not intrude. That could put them on line for some ISR and other support.

Many countries are canceling their passports for any one trying to join ISIS. I’m sure O’Venal will try that with these vets, though they are fighting AGAINST ISIS.
