Nurse Ratched's Strategy: Hillary Will Act Like She's Already President,

RUSH: I still say keep an eye on O'Malley. I have never said that Hillary is a guaranteed lock on anything. I've never thought it. I've been proven wrong. There were times I didn't even think she would run that she did. I very seldom, I have to admit, when it comes to Hillary, Hillary's the biggest drag on my accuracy, my opinion audit, Hillary Clinton's the biggest drag because I always get her wrong. And I'm still. And I get her wrong because I just can't believe what I'm told about her. I just can't believe any of it.

Now we've got Walter O'Malley. Sorry. Former patriarch of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Martin O'Malley of Baltimore who's out doing the Vladimir Putin impersonation. He's taking his shirt off. He's showing the six-pack abs -- well, maybe four-pack. And the pecs, and he's out there flexing, and he's trying to draw a comparison generational youth and vigor and vim and energy versus staid old-maidism, which is what you find in Mrs. Clinton, Nurse Ratchedism, actually.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary actually -- if The Politico is right, and I think they are -- if Hillary's attitude, if Hillary's strategy is to campaign as if she's already president just to be able to effect and present a presidential aura instead of campaigning for president. Her strategy means just act like you're there, act like it's already happened. You're Hillary Clinton, you don't have to run for anything. All you have to do is say you want it and the nation will give it to you. That's the strategy.

It's kind of like the old Pittsburgh Steelers coach Chuck Noll. He did not want his players celebrating after touchdowns. "You're supposed to be there. It isn't any big deal when you score a touchdown. It's just your job. You give the ball to the referee and you get back for the sideline, get ready for the next play. Don't act like it's unusual to be there in the end zone."

Well, it's the same strategy with Hillary. Don't act like you have to get with the rest of the crowd and actually seek this office. You act like it already is yours. You act as though you're already there every way except physically. And then over here we're gonna have the Republicans dogging it out and fighting it out and taking each other out because the theory is they won't go after Hillary much, 'cause they'll be too busy going after themselves.

But if Hillary continues with that strategy, there is the train of thought that it opens the door for O'Malley to combat her and compete against her from the left. Remember the story we had a couple of days ago that Hillary is going to attempt to win by reassembling the Obama coalition of young people and African-Americans. And to do that, she's gotta go even further left than Obama. And the story was that that's going to be easy because the country's already there. That Hillary is not gonna have to lead the country to the left. She's not gonna have to persuade them anymore in the value of the welfare state, and the value of a big government, and the value of 93 million Americans not working, and the value of open borders immigration. Country's already there.

All she has to do is adopt those positions that people already hold, and she's in like Flynn.

CASE IN POINT: The craven Hillary finally deigned to answer media questions on one of her endless "presidential listening tours".......

Fox's Ed Henry seemed jubilant that he nailed her---getting to ask hot topic questions about the nefarious Foundation, and her emails from Blumenthal that she tried to keep hidden.

But Hillary played Ed Henry like a violin.....as she mocked him in dulcet tones.

A CONSERVATIVE THINKING LIKE A CLINTON IS NAUSEATING BUT IT MUST BE DONE: Hillary's mocking answers were calculated to keep her supporters enthralled.....b/c she knows they hate Fox News, "judgmental" Republicans, and they don't give a fig that the Clintons got filthy rich using the corrupt Foundation.

REFERENCE Morning Joe ran the Mark Halperin video-- asking assembled Hillary voters to name a single accomplishment of Secy of State Hillary.....the silence was deafening. The brain-dead Dems said they didn't care about lack of accomplishments or the Clinton corruption. They support Hillary because they hate judgmental Republicans, and Bill and Hillary know how to beat them, and b/c Hillary is a ‘strong woman’.
