“Cruz is my #1, but I will support either Cruz or Walker to stop Jeb or Rand Paul (Mr. Social Issues Truce).”

Yes.

I am especially grateful that we have a fine field this cycle. It is killing Hillary, with the media busy exposing her corruption for lack of anyone else interesting to cover
as her competition. It’s actually a Godsend. Republicans couldn’t manage this if they tried, because it is so perfectly manifested. God save us.

I have to laugh.

ALL the hate on FR for Dick Morris but now......

Really?

Let’s take a trip down memory lane and Morris’ election night prediction and near heart failure.

It does not matter because Walker is fast becoming the GOPe default candidate and they will push him at us night and day. It is already almost relentless.

They like it that he’s pro-amnesty. Or will be the day after elected.

...and Cruz was pro-amnesty when he worked for the Bush Administration....Cruz inserted work permits for illegals into the Gang of 8 bill....just like Obama is doing now.

There is no guarantee that Cruz doesn't turn into pro-amnesty on Day 2 in office, either.

I guess, when you beat your wife in the future, then everyone will know you are an abusive husband.

How does it feel to be smeared?

I don’t know if what you’re saying is true, because you seem to have a vindictive agenda.

But taking your straw man premise at face value, doing something you are ordered to do as a subordinate is different than coming out directly for amnesty, as Walker has done.

I wouldn’t call Palin pro-amnesty, but she ran with the biggest pro-amnesty RINO.

Please show me where Walker came “directly out for amnesty.”

You can Google it yourself. Just type in “Walker amnesty” and you will get a lot of hits about him flip-flopping several times. If you type in “Walker comprehensive immigration” you can’t find his direct comments going back and forth.

No honest politician that is pro-amnesty has been honest enough to say that they are. Not even McAmnesty or Obama! So if you’re trying to say Walker is a true blue conservative on this issue because he never used certain words you are looking for, you may as well vote Democrat if you are that gullible.

Here is one to get you started, one of hundreds:
http://www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddow-show/scott-walkers-immigration-position-clear-mud
in this article, according to the Wall Street Journal, “Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told a private dinner of New Hampshire Republicans this month that he backed the idea of allowing undocumented immigrants to stay in the country and to eventually become eligible for citizenship, a position at odds with his previous public statements on the matter.”.

Sorry, LIAR, you said Walker “directly supported amnesty”.

You can’t back that up.

Instead, you hide behind liberal articles like a coward.

Here is another question: Please show me one ACTION that Walker implemented as governor that is not conservative.

People, like you, prefer to “read into” Walker’s words and heart while absolutely ignoring his STELLAR record as governor. A record that almost cost him his office and Walker never backed down, apologized or modified his positions.

Meanwhile, you support Cruz who is more words than actions. I like Cruz. He is my second choice. But aim not assaulting him with fabrications or twists of his words....which can be done easily.

When Morris talks about liberals you should listen very carefully because he knows what he is talking about.

When he talks about conservatives you can safely disregard it because he doesn't have a clue.

My point is you are riding the Cruz campaign into the ash heap. Whatever you say that ought to have disqualified 0bama as a Senator from even his first White House run in every respect applies to Cruz. You could say because 0bama got elected so will Cruz. It is the action in the presidency that matters more than the rhetoric.

The only thing that disqualified Obama was his policy positions. He is, was, and will continue to be, a Marxist.

You are taking my words out of context. He said he supported comprehensive reform, which anyone on this forum knows is the PC words for amnesty.

You can call me names if it makes you feel any better. I think it just makes it look like you lost the argument so are resorting to namecalling instead of intelligent debate..

I picked one article out of hundreds. If it came from a liberal source, isn't that ironic since the libs are for amnesty? Seems even they see his disingenuousness. .

Governors cannot implement amnesty, or as you like to hide behind, comprehensive immigration reform. So there's no precedence to see what he will do..

I didn't read INTO Walker's words, I read HIS words. His exact words..

You are trying to say he didn't say what he did say, loud and clear. For whatever reason. Hero worship? I think it's best if we see our candidates for what they are - or what they have shown us. I don't trust any politician to be honest. But there is ONE I will give the benefit of the doubt to, since he hasn't wavered from conservatism. One in this race. Tancredo and Hunter are two other patriots. He's done some great things. But since he is pro-amnesty, I will never vote for him since I purposely left an invaded border state. Anyone who wishes that on the entire country will NOT ever get my vote. We may as well kiss this country goodbye.
