White mercenaries have Boko Haram on run

They’re Nigeria’s unlikely saviors – most being white, in their 50s and 60s and combat veterans of the former South African apartheid regime.

But, tainted resumes notwithstanding, they’ve been getting the job done in northern Nigeria, hitting the Islamist terror group Boko Haram hard enough to send the jihadists into retreat, liberating dozens of villages and freeing hundreds of women and girls held as slaves and “bush wives” during a six-year-long reign of terror, reported London Telegraph.

Boko Haram recently pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. In recent years, Boko Haram has slaughtered entire villages, burned countless churches and targeted Christians and moderate Muslims for death. It received global attention last year for abducting nearly 300 Nigerian schoolgirls.

The squad of mostly-white bush-warfare experts is employed by Specialized Tasks, Training, Equipment and Protection, a private army run by Colonel Eeben Barlow, a former commander in the South African Defense Force, where he defended the regime against insurrection and fought border wars 30 years ago in neighboring Angola and Namibia.

Barlow’s firm was hired by Nigeria outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan in January, as the failure of his administration to stop Boko Haram or free kidnapped schoolgirls became major campaign issues ahead of the March election.

As WND has reported, despite first lady Michelle Obama’s much-publicized Twitter campaign to #BringBackOurGirls, President Obama withheld weapons and intelligence support from Nigeria in its fight against the Islamists because Jonathan’s administration stood by the nation’s laws criminalizing homosexual acts and strictly forbidding same-sex marriage.

Jonathan was defeated in the March election by retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, who ruled as dictator there from 1983 until 1985, when he was removed through a coup. Buhari’s campaign was run by the political firm founded by key Obama strategist David Axelrod.

They didn’t fight for the money. The money has always sucked. Aside from a few nut cases they fought for ideology - not that the adrenaline didn’t hurt. I have no doubt the same is now true.

During the last Israeli elections Obama’s ilk were in Israel trying to manipulate the elections there too (as I’m sure you’re aware). I’m starting to wonder how many places these crew shoe up to trying to rig things, but more importantly, who is funding these operations? I despise the guy, but I’m certain Axelrod’s ‘services’ do not come cheap. This smells like Soros, but there’s no way it’s just him. I’d be willing to bet that the same globalists that are trying to manipulate elections are the same group that had influence on putting together these TPP trade ‘agreements’ that nobody can look at until we are subjects under them. Obama has proven he doesn’t give a damn about Boko Harem or all the girls they kidnap, but he certainly does care about the elections there. That’s the bigger story but there is still more to it...

"So soetoro is refusing aid and intelligence to fight BH/ISIS because they passed laws banning homosexuality".

Whoa. So much for #Bring back our girls.

There is so much more to this. It's a Must-read, but you have to read the whole article to the end. It has a couple of shocking twists-much more here than just a great story about a bunch of older guys taking it to BH/ISIS.

Remember when soetoro was in kenya in 2006, while a US senator and campaigned for his cousin raila odinga? He lost, muslims rioted, they created the post of pm for him.

I believe dick morris ran his campaign. Maybe axelrod too ?

My husband is in his late 60s. has cancer, and has made noises about wanting to go to go do something like this rather than die in his bed. He’s a Vietnam vet of two voluntary tours and the toughest man (mentally, and formerly physically) I’ve ever known. Of course I haven’t taken him seriously, but in a couple of weeks when we find out whether his treatment bought him time or not, I expect to hear more about it from him. He says he’s not dying in bed and he’d just as soon leave the world a better place when he goes, by taking some of the bad guys with him.

Uncannily enough, my brother who is perfectly healthy and lives in another state has been making the same noises (he’s retired military, vet of Iraq and Afghanistan).

That’s the leftist and putative “conservative” meme, that apartheid, of all things in the world, was an unmitigated evil. Of course, South Africa as presently constituted would be considered an unmitigated good. Puke.

David Axelrod’s Political Consulting Firm Far More Involved in Nigeria Election than Previously Disclosed

Group backing controversial former dictator

February 9, 2015

Other sources on the ground and familiar with the (Buhari’s All Progressives Congress) APC’s campaign say that the party has been trying to keep AKPD’s ongoing work quiet. It is rumored that AKPD employees are being housed in an APC compound located in Lagos, according to multiple sources.

“The sense is they’re being hidden currently in Lagos,” said another insider on the ground who would only speak on background. “They’re trying to keep a very low profile.”

AKPD’s close ties to the Obama administration also has given rise to criticism from those who see the White House as meddling in the elections.

“They have been particularly careful not to be seen at all because of the perception of the connection between Axelrod and the president and what that would convey,” said one of the sources quoted above.

Yes, extremely interesting. Sacrificing lives for the homosexual agenda and installing a dictator in a foreign country.

There is a lot of cash for those willing to do mercenary work, especially if you have more than four years in a commonwealth combat arms trade. Canadian soldiers are in high demand for example.

Actually, a lot of them were ideologically devoted to anti-Communism, but preferred the freedom to fight Communism as mercs, rather than being at the beck and call of their home country government that wasn’t a committed to the project as they were.

Thank you, especially for the prayer. As his wife, I probably shouldn’t say it, but I admire my husband more than any person I’ve ever personally known, and always have. They broke the mold when they made him.

That’s so beautiful. Wow. I’m 46 guy and my better half has been through heck with me and I am under appreciative. I cant lie. I shall double my efforts.

You must be from the south or Midwest somewhere. :) It just seems like people are warmer or somehow different than up here.

I’m from NYC where you always want the next bigger or better thing and it consumes you.

I am so happy you have been felt blessed with him and I will ask Dawn to pray for you and your husband also. Boy, he sounds like a real throwback to another, better era.

That's about all you need to know to explain it.
