Holy mackerel.
A lot of the roads along the river are impassable.
I'm fine, though.
It so distressing when they don’t make it, I know. We love birds.
Recently I saw four or five female Cardinals. Beautiful light brown feathers with orange beaks. The gorgeous males are around, too.
That’s all that matters. I hope your home isn’t flooded.
That’s great about the Cardinals.
We usually have a lot of them flying around the property in
the Winter, but there was a real dearth of them this year.
We didn’t see more than three or four this past Winter.
Mr. T fed them all winter on the back deck. So far, the bears haven’t tried to get into the back yard.

This land, its people, the dreams that unfold here and the freedom to bring it all together -- well, those are what make America soar, up where you can see hope billowing in those freedom winds.
