LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI (WLNS) – Michigan is once again in the spotlight as Presidential candidates drum up support for their campaigns.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz will visit Livingston County on June 3rd as the keynote speaker at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner in Howell. Senator Cruz is the latest in what is expected to be a number of visits from Republican Presidential candidates looking ahead to the March 8, 2016 party primary.

Sen. Ted Cruz was the first Republican to announce a 2016 Presidential run. Known for his conservatism, Cruz is the son of Cuban immigrants. Prior to going to Washington DC, Sen. Cruz was the Solicitor General for the state of Texas.

The theme of this year’s Lincoln Day Dinner is a tribute to the US military and their families. More information on the dinner and tickets are available here.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

If the rest of the voting public would get their heads out of their behinds, they will select someone like Cruz (a true conservative who actually loves America) for the next leader of this once great nation.

And having done so, go back and HANG odumbo for his numerous past crimes against this country. We all know he deserves it.

They just can't help but lie, can they?

I would love to see Michigan go red next year. The midwest will be so crucial to any Republican wanting to win the White House.

I'm going to try to make it since I'm 30 minutes away and my friend is the county chair of the party, but my work schedule is insane right now so I'm not sure I can make it.

Finally, a conservative republican who actually looks like he intends to fight in Michigan.

Actually, I think those might actually be the supporters of other candidates mostly.

Thanks cripplecreek.
FReeper Grampa Dave perhaps said it best:
If Hiterily gets elected with enough votes in Congress, these will be the good old days.

The purists, who will stay at home because our candidate couldn't walk on water without getting the soles of his Teva's wet will have gifted us with another Clintoon pillaging.

I heard, and don’t quote me or take this as absolute fact, that he and related PACs had raised north of 60 Million so far.

I don’t know how the meeting with Adleson went.

The Adelson dinner I think was suppose to be either late April or this month.

$ 60 million will keep Ted Cruz well in the game even till this time next year.

It’s a county party fundraiser, so I doubt it.
