I understand the driver responsible is VERY ‘lawyered up.’

Possible motive there, create an accident to “prove” the lack of safety.

It’s called “telescoping” and resulted in hideous casualties back when passenger cars were wooden & rickety.
Even now, the locomotive in this crash was much heavier than the cars it drew behind it. It didn’t `capsize’ & remained upright & mostly intact. AFAIK most of the deaths happened in the car right behind it.
Anyway, Amtrak put a faggie at the throttle. What could go wrong?

Sorry but most gays have very serious emotional issues and many are overtly mentally ill. Simply do not trust them in sensitive positions regardless of whatever “fitness” test they pass.
I believe that was a second, separate train that was struck k by the unknown projectile.

If this is true, then charge the conductor/engineer/motorman with eight counts of murder and go for the death penalty if possible.
