.... Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi predicted Wednesday that Republicans will "rue the day" if the Supreme Court buys their arguments and invalidates tax subsidies for millions of people under President Barack Obama's health care law. Republicans have said they will try to ensure people don't lose insurance if the high court rules this summer against tax subsidies for health care coverage in certain states. But they haven't said how they would do it.

Notice the media isn't blaming the Democrats for writing a bad law.

The REPUBLICANS are to blame.

Garbage journalism.

Someone should tell Nancy, “We passed the bill and found out what’s in it.”

But they haven't said how they would do it.

Except, they have. IIRC, there are a couple Republican proposals out there.

The gimmies will revolt. Already are.

The only downside to this is that they aren't doing it in my area yet.

Democrat voters living off the State will object... they wouldn’t vote for a Republican anyway... We have nothing to lose - besides contrary to what Pelosi thinks - the SC deals with the issue of legality.

If democrats wrote a law in a way that makes it illegal, that’s their fault. Even the press can’t cover for that one...

IF PELOSI SAYS WE WILL RUE THE DAY, IT MEANS WE CAN CELEBRATE IT.

Has anybody ever looked to see if the words “medicine,” “doctors,” “health care,” or “hospitals” are in the Constitution?

” Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi predicted Wednesday that Republicans will “rue the day” if the Supreme Court buys their arguments and invalidates tax subsidies for millions of people under President Barack Obama’s health care law. “

How is it that the Republicans are to blame for the Democrats passing something that is unconstitutional without one single Republican vote?

Oh yes, it’s because Democrats are not to blame for anything they do. They just can’t handle the responsibility of their own actions.

How is it that the Republicans are to blame for the Democrats

Because the republicans are playing a different game than the democrats.

The Dems ignore the rhetoric and go for what actually makes a difference in the real world.

Until the republicans give up the 'sound bite' and rhetoric, I don't see the republicans doing any good because the dems just ignore them until things get real.

All those people who lose their subsidies won’t vote for the Republican. Surely they would all have voted for the Republican otherwise, no?

There will be no ghetto problems in my town. The drug dealers might begin to off each other at a noticeable rate but I can’t see anything worse than that in the cards. The only demonstrations we get is the parade on MLK day.
