I would think that if he skipped Iowa during the nominating process, he would NOT carry the State in the General Election. The way the Electoral College is set up, we need Iowa this year.

It was a while ago, but another Republican tried the pick-and-choose strategy and NEVER recovered. Hopefully we see the same here.

Been saying all along Bush has no place to get support in Iowa.

Bush is gambling on the first winner-take-all primaries on March 15: Florida, Missouri, and Illinois.

Primaries before then have to be proportional.
