Chris Rock was interviewed by Hadley Freeman at The Guardian last week, where he spoke on everything from his divorce, to new Daily Show host Trevor Noah, and of course, racism.
Rock seems to think that police violence is just a part of everyday life for young black men, and that “white kids” are never victims of police brutality:
How about white kids are too concerned about getting an education and working P/T at a job to go out and riot ... Chris, the ever popular racist.
Oh they do, it just doesn’t make the news because doing so does not fit the liberal socialist agenda.
White men and women get injured and killed by police quite often.
I guess Chris Crock never heard of the white teenager who was shot and killed in Salt Lake City last summer.

In 2012, according to the CDC, 140 blacks were killed by police. That same year 386 whites were killed by police. Over the 13-year period from 1999 to 2011, the CDC reports that 2,151 whites were killed by cops — and 1,130 blacks were killed by cops....
So what’s driving this notion that there is now an “epidemic” of white cops shooting blacks when in the last several decades the numbers of blacks killed by cops are down nearly 75 percent?
Nope. Never, ever, ever do white “kids” get shot by cops. Not once. Ever. Uh, chris, you just ain’t that funny anymore. And, never, ever do a racially mixed set of cops get shot by some black “kids”. Nope, not ever.
Racism is alive and well...throughout the black community.
The white teenager in Salt Lake City was shot and killed by a black cop.
Ah yes social comment by an entertainer. I guess national policy is to be set by actors and singers throwing in some randomly selected blacks and illegal aliens with their deep insights. No wonder the country is in a mess.
What the Hell happened to Chris Rock? In the early 2000s, he used to get it that if you behave yourself, you won’t get into trouble with the cops. Apparently he drank the Kool Aid at some point over the past 10 years.

Maybe white kids don’t resist arrest and don’t attack cops so much.
Another lie - whites are twice as likely to be killed by police than blacks. It is roughly a 2/3rds to 1/3rd split with Hispanic and Asians taking up a small percentage. Of course Black males only make up 6 to 7 percent of the US population.
Those figures show a third of the shootings were blacks. But blacks only make up about 14% of the population.
The reason a higher percentage of blacks get shot is because a higher percentage of blacks are criminals.
Oh really? How about the fact that Black kids are disproportionately in trouble with the popo, that isn't evidence? Der der der.
Selectively cherry-picking incidents of police shooting teenagers while in the commission of some criminal activity, and purposely NOT including those in which a non-black delinquent was the target, would tend to skew the “findings” the great statistician Chris Rock came up with.
White kids get harassed just as much. Spend a little time in a college town. As for shot, it just doesn’t make the news nor does it become fuel for riots.
I don’t think Mr. Rock is using his brain hard enough. Critical thinking isn’t exactly in vogue right now.
