After riot, school advocates want more money from Hogan, Rawlings-Blake

Education advocates on Monday called on Gov. Larry Hogan and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake to increase funding for the city's schools, arguing the recent rioting in Baltimore shows the money is desperately needed.

Without the funds, city schools will be forced to cut teachers, critical programs and student services, the advocates said.

"Baltimore is not getting sufficient education funding to provide for all of our children's needs," said Bebe Verdery, education reform director at the ACLU of Maryland. The coalition includes the city's parent-teacher association and the city's charter schools organization, among other groups.

Sounds like Satire. Isn’t a local Baltimore TV station (41) investigating where all of the money from Bammy’s $tash went?

Pardon me, but weren't we just told that Baltimore spends the 2nd highest amount per pupil annually of ALL major school systems [~$17,000+ per pupil per year]?

So, just when will we begin to see penetrating, investigative reporting as to WHERE all that money went, if not to the poor, neglected pupils [aka rioters]?

Because while there is still one teacher left to lay off every administrative job is safe.

The coalition includes the city's parent-teacher association and the city's charter schools organization...
And when the left cuts all funding for charter schools to put it into the regular public schools, the rest of the coalition will either be silent without eye contact, or point and laugh.

Why not cut bureaucrats, free breakfast, lunch and dinner, athletics and crap like 'How to put a condom on a cucumber'? Then lets cut teachers...

I know...I'm racist!! 😊
