Just about every article on home defense strongly advises letting the cops know you’re coming out and making sure your hands are empty and in plain sight.
That assumes you know the cops are there. What if it’s the criminals?
“If you drop the gun immediately as ordered, can it discharge when it hits the ground?”
Not if it’s a Glock.
