ISIS Targeting States With Strict Gun Control Laws

ISIS focusing on three states where citizens won’t shoot back

ISIS reportedly released a list of five states it’s ready to attack, three of which have some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation.

The states, which were named in a message signed by Abu Ibrahim Al Ameriki and shared on Twitter, included California, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan and Virginia.

“Four out of the five states listed have passing grades from groups that support MORE gun control and disarming the populace,” an AR-15.com forum member pointed out.

Sure enough, on the latest “state scorecard” from the anti-gun Brady Campaign, Virginia is the only state out of the five that isn’t really moving toward stricter gun laws.

And according to a state ranking from Guns & Ammo which lists the best state for gun owners at #1 and the strictest gun control state at #50, California, Maryland and Illinois are ranked #46, #44 and #41 respectively.

The other two states, Michigan and Virginia, are ranked around the middle of the pack at #28 and #21.

Additionally, California and Maryland are among the hardest states for citizens to receive concealed carry permits.

“There are only a few conditions under which Maryland may grant you a permit,” an Opencarry forum member revealed. “1) Documented threats against your life or previous documented attacks, 2) Transportation of large sums of cash with bank deposit slips as proof and 3) Carrying of medicine and prescription pads (medical doctors.)”

“In other words you will not get a permit to carry in Maryland unless one of the three conditions above is met and if it is granted, it will be restricted to the activity used as the basis for the approval.”

And it isn’t much easier for California residents to receive a permit.

So put yourself in a militant’s shoes: would you rather attack an area where only the police have guns, or an area where citizens will shoot back?

A vigilant man (or woman—or heck, even a child) needs to learn situational awareness and make it part of his/her consciousness.

It is nothing more than being aware of one’s surroundings, and keeping an eye or ear out for strangeness, differences and even subtle changes in the environment you are in.

Be aware of where the exits are; the quickest way out of a crowd, try to stay on the fringes rather than the middle; when walking down a busy city sidewalk, be aware of doors, cubbies and alleys where someone could hide and jump out on you—and as places for YOU to dart into if the instant SHTF occurs there!

The opposite of this I see so much today. For example, I’m here in Chicago this week and I constantly see people walking around texting—completely oblivious to things and people to the point that they walk into them. There are a lot of buildings that have revolving doors and I’ve seen many collisions between a revolving door exiter and a texter to the point that it is not even funny anymore!

Even my very liberal relatives in Kalamazoo are avid shooters.

When one reflects on the Constitution, the wording is clear: The Right of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms shall NOT be infringed.

The question for us is actually beyond Sammy Davis’s song the Eye of the Sparrow—”Don’t do the crime if you can’t pay the fine.”

The fine for illegal possession of a firearm in some states can get you in jail. But not having one can get you dead.

Two sayings come to mind:

“When seconds count the police are only minutes away.”

“Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.”

If the shit starts to hit the fan in this country? I’ll take my chances with Colonel Colt rather than Officer Friendly.

Leftist ideology is such that having an armed citizen stand up to ISIS means more bloodshed. After all no one wants to see those poor jobless peaceful Muslims get hurt by some gun wielding right wing nutjob when the cops are just minutes away.

I do not want to see innocent people get killed by these thugs, but if this means a wake up call to those libtard voters that their gun laws suck, then so be it.

> Anyone who believes Muslim terrorists are deciding who to attack based on gun-control laws is a total moron.

Not really. The anti-gun mentality in their state means they lean left and comprised of morons that are easily led which means they will be easier to conquer. It ‘s just common sense and being efficient. I’m sure they have strategical value in their plans too of course....

Urbanites are almost certainly more Left-wing than rural inhabitants. The blue states are generally blue because of their big cities and suburban rings. That means they have more people. And many of those more people are immigrants/illegals—some being Muslim.

ISIS—if they can believed at all—will go to where the most people are to blend in and get the biggest bang for their buck, no pun intended.

They’re less likely to go to states with Bugtussle and Bumm-#$ck as their major metropoli.

Personally, I think ISIS, like almost all Arabs, are big on talk and mostly full of $hit when it comes to this particular threat.

I am, however, keeping my powder dry in the unlikely event I get to pay back those innocents who were murdered/beheaded.

I’d vote for concentrating on California. The specific areas would be around or in LA........ Hollywood, sin central and around the San Francisco Bay. Berkley perhaps.

Maryland might be ok too but the positive political effect would not be as great as California. Although I doubt the wackos have the ability to kill more than a hand ful at a time, if they actually were successful in killing thousands or tens of thousands, the net result might be the transition of California from blue to red.

Until such a transition occurs, California is a drag on America

I hate how some people keep confusing Illinois with Chicago.

“Maryland might be ok... if they actually were successful in killing thousands..”

I don’t know, bert. Imagine July 4th.. Ocean City, on the boardwalk. A thousand would be easy depending on the number of gunmen. Huge crowds of people huddled together...

You’re looking at it from the wrong perspective.

You need to look at it from the perspective that the list was made before the attack in Texas that the attack in Texas had been successful.

From that perspective look how the list fits in with the gun control crowd.

Depends on the city. Detroit is probably the most heavily armed large city in America. Hardly a day passes when one of the churches doesn't hold some kind of armed defense and firearm safety course.

Detroiters are even taking their guns to church. When Rosedale Park Baptist had trouble with drug dealers and car thefts, Pastor Haman Cross Jr. told his congregants from the pulpit that they should consider getting concealed-carry permits.

"I love the Lord; I'm a Christian," he says. "But like I told the congregation, let's send a message right in front. I want the word out in the community, if you steal any of our cars, I'm coming after you."

More African-Americans Support Carrying Legal Guns For Self-Defense

Its producing people like Paris Ainsworth who despite being shot 4 times herself, still managed to return fire hitting 2 of 3 assailants (One of them twice)

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Most important in my eyes is the way its bringing inner city blacks into contact with conservative whites in friendly settings with common goals.
