Marilyn Mosby's Case Is Falling Apart
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | May 7, 2015 | Rush Limbaugh

Posted on 05/07/2015 4:19:46 PM PDT by Kaslin

RUSH: We got CNN and an incredible piece of journalism. I guess they do that now and then at CNN. Accidental journalism, out of Baltimore. "Baltimore Police Investigation Doesn't Support Some of Prosecution's Charges." This piece undercuts and undermines Marilyn Mosby...

I've been watching the news this morning, as I always have these TV monitors on, and now there are people openly worrying if Mosby's case fails, if Baltimore will burn to the ground.

I literally saw somebody speculate about that possibility. That if Mosby's case fails against the six cops, if it fails, that Baltimore is gonna burn, and they're getting worried about it exactly as we knew would happen. You know, the euphoria of the original charges in the announcement, no justice, no peace, and now reality is beginning to settle in.

The defendants are not gonna roll over and play ball and make Marilyn Mosby look like a hero. The defendants are gonna work as hard as they can to get out from under this. People are now beginning to look at all of the irregularities here, and apparently there was a police investigation that shows a lot of different results than what Marilyn Mosby announced. We, of course, will get into that in great detail as the program unfolds before your very eyes and ears.

There's starting to be wild conspiracy theories bandied about, and I want to nuke one of them right now. Mr. Snerdley, tell me if you've heard this one. That Marilyn Mosby purposely overcharged the black cops so that they would be exonerated, but properly charged the white cops so that they would be convicted. She's not that smart. I'm sorry, folks. She isn't that smart, as are none of the people working with her. They might be that devious. I'm sorry, at some point we have to be realistic here. Marilyn Mosby just isn't that smart. And, besides, one of the charges, well, the driver, the only one charged with murder is a black guy, so it kind of throws the theory out of the wazoo.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Oh, and, by the way, what's-her-name, Loretta Lynch says that she is considering the request of the Baltimore mayor to go in and totally rework the police department. Yeah. Grab sound bite 21.

This is Senate appropriations subcommittee hearing on the Department of Justice budget request and the new attorney general, Loretta Lynch, testified, said this. You know, the mayor there, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, asked the DOJ to come in and fix the police department, and this was her response.

LYNCH: We're currently in the process of considering the request from city officials and community and police leaders for an investigation into whether the Baltimore city police department engaged in a pattern or practice of civil rights violations. And I intend to have a decision in the coming days.

RUSH: Really? Really? It's still up in the air whether you're going? Ha. Ha. Bunch of saps here. What, can we expect in the next couple of days: "We have decided to turn down the request of the mayor in Baltimore and we are not going to determine whether or not the city of Baltimore police department engaged in a pattern of civil rights violation." Not gonna do that. I mean, it's not like they're going into an all-white police department.

From what I understand, they don’t know the means by which the alleged homicide was carried out. Sounds like a real RUSH to charge the cops without waiting for the evidence

There was only one officer charged with murder.

Mosby’s pissed about these leaks.

Good.

I’m no swami, mind reader, great intellect, etc. but when I saw the self-righteous anger, and resolve when she announced the charges, I knew it was all smoke, blown WAY out of proportion, and the facts would come out to refute her, and her bloviance.

Just a good juudge of character, I suppose. It’s easy when she puts on that Obama “I won” dictator look.

Sounds like a prosecutorial lynch mob is running the State Attorney’s Office for Baltimore.

I'm afraid this may follow the example of the 1993 Rodney King kangaroo court where the Feds charge the Baltimore police officers with "civil rights" violations if the original counts don't stick.

I had surmised this already. Consider these facts:

1. Mosby repeatedly referred to her "independent" investigation, suggesting she was running her own, parallel investigation.

2. She announced her charges the day after she received the police report. She would not have had time to give it serious consideration.

3. The police delivered their report the day before their internal deadline, suggesting Mosby was timing her press conference to preempt the police report.

Even a not so skilled defense lawyer will be able to demolish the Mosby prosecution with so many irregularities and contradictions.

I suspect she knows full well that the charges aren't going to stick. And this may not have been a simple case of an out-of-control, vindictive prosecutor, either.

As soon as the charges were announced, my immediate thought was that the charges were only filed to make the mutants in Baltimore stop rioting and go home.

And that was a driver, wasn’t it? No way murder will stick for a driver. Recklessness, negligence, something like that, but no way murder will stick.

And everybody repeat again:

Wait for the autopsy, and THEN have it independently confirmed.

no justice, no peace

Peaceful coexistence requires what libtards hate, government using its power to stop arbitrary and emotionalistic initiation of force by mobs and gangs of thugs that violates natural rights of the innocent. This requires the police and the national guard to do what they have to do as long as it is in accordance with objective law.

So they are prosecuting the cops to appease the savages. Some ancient civilizations sacrificed people to appease the gods. This is no different. The cops were sacrificed on the altar of political correctness.

Funny how when you're black and a Mayor, you are not held accountable for your own police department. Instead, you ATTACK them and call them MURDERERS while somehow escaping any culpability for their actions! Mayor Rawlings-Blake takes advantage of the 'black detachment phenomenon' whereby she attacks those whom she is responsible for without any fear of being held ACCOUNTABLE for them. SOUND FAMILIAR?????

Remember the good old days when a Mayor stood by his police department no matter what, and IF HE COULDN'T HE WOULD IMMEDIATELY RESIGN AS A FAILED MAYOR?

“the charges were only filed to make the mutants in Baltimore stop rioting and go home.”

She KNOWS this is going to fail.
And the cops will be found not guilty just in time for next summer’s Baltimore riots to drive blacks to the polls to vote Democrat.

Next up is the Hispanic “Riots”.
It’s how these Radical Academics operate, folks.

Filing charges that don't stick will only stop the rioting for the moment and will make the rioting worse later.

Not to mention that it's immoral to file such charges.

This IS a case of something being wrong with the prosecutor.
