White Privilege is the tendency to prosper in

It is a charge made by those who observe the tendency to prosper

Unfortunately, Juan, while your family may not have had those beliefs, too many in the AA community do. Being educated is being white to them, therefore they remain stupid and lazy.

The teacher, completely unprepared for what he said which was: “white privilege, you mean the part where my dad graduated high school, joined the Navy, went to boot camp, served onboard ships, scrubbed shitters as an E-1 and worked on the mess deck for 120 days as an E-2 and humped stores until he was E-5 spent Christmas, birthday’s, and anniversaries deployed all over the world, sacrificed with his own blood, sweat, and sometimes tears, just to give me the things he didn’t have as kid, you mean that white privilege. Or the white privilege where he pays his taxes on time, gives to charity, donates hundreds of hours to the Boy Scouts, volunteers at the local voting precinct, organized a neighborhood watch, or coached my soccer, football, and baseball teams...that white privilege.”

When do the whites get to experience the white privilege they’re accused of all the time? Try to apply for benefits as a white person and see if you get anywhere close to what minorities receive.

I just wish I had a $1 bill for every time a white man stopped me on the street and offered me a good job. It happens to me all the time, just because I am white. Is that what they mean when they talk about white privilege?
