Megyn Kelly spoke tonight with a Baltimore police officer who works with all six officers who were criminally charged in the death of Freddie Gray. In an effort to keep him safe, his identity was disguised and voice was masked during The Kelly File interview. At his request, he wanted to be called “Mike.” […]

“None of them actually had any knowledge he was injured until they got to the station,” Mike stated. ”You know, Freddie is always one of those types where when you go to arrest him on the streets, he always puts on a show and whatnot.” […]

Mike remarked that the officers are a “great group” and that “they have hearts of gold.” …

I hope truth and justice have a chance in this case. I can’t imagine the nightmare those police officers are going through. Maybe they deserve it but I highly doubt it.

Well eye contact is a pretty bad crime. No wonder he committed suicide.

Wish I had time to go to Baltimore to march against those racist police especially the 2 black males and the black female.

The more I hear these people come out—a friend, a wife, etc.—the more I think these officers are flat out guilty. Excuses, denials, remorse, and “good” character won’t restore Freddie Gray back to life. At this point, time to let the legal system run its course. Then again, if any or all of these six officers want to fess up to what happened, I’m sure the media would be happy to take their interview.

I personally think this guy needs to step down, he is going to say to much and maybe cause these officers more problems. I understand what he is trying to do but just my opinion

Freddy wuz BAD, the cops too.

Ballmere is lost. Plenty of blame to go around, but 0bama is at the core of the problem.

After the prosecutor came out and said “As young people, our time is now”, you still trust the “legal system”, whatever that is?

I’m not convinced of anything at this point.

The officers are as easily innocent as guilty.

We’ll see how it shakes out in time.

Whether Freddie was a bad character or not, that is an entirely separate issue from the actions and in-actions of the police officers. The made an illegal arrest, they locked Freddie up, and delivered him dying. They did this. Whether intentional or a “nickle ride” gone bad, doesn’t matter. Under the color of law, they caused Freddie to die. They were not the judge, the jury, but, yes, they turned out to be the executioners. They now need to pay for their actions and in-actions. May they rot in jail or worse.

Depends on whether Freddy imbibed his Horse stash prior to being rounded up.

Yeah, Cops are so evil, until you need one. Just like the military has always been, hated in peacetime, loved during war. Unless you have spent time in a policeman shoes you have no idea what they face each day. They put their lives at risk each day handling the garbage of our society like Freddie Grey so we don’t have to. The next time you find yourself in a dangerous situation, like a burglar in your house or a stalker following your wife don’t even think about calling those cops you hate so much.

I think you missed the sarcasm in golf lover’s post. The reference is with respect to the liberal media’s “white police officer kills unarmed black man” narrative, or so it appears to me.

If that is what the police saw it wouldn’t have been an unwarranted arrest.

That’s the PC/poor me version.

He saw the cop looking his way and took off running.

Who does that?

[unless they have a reason to run]

Why? Because you hate cops? Give us any evidence whatsoever that the police caused Gray's injury. I've yet to see you do so.

The world is better place without a drug-dealing scumbag like Freddie. How many lost their lives after using drugs he sold them?

It's a sick society that makes a martyr out of drug dealer.

Still separate matter and irrelevant. They didn’t have legal cause to arrest him. The police have already admitted that. Even the knife they found on him, AFTER they arrested him, turned out to be perfectly legal. The police have already admitted that. They didn’t properly strap him in. The police have already admitted that. They took him on a 45 minute “nickel ride” when the jail was just four blocks away. He was alive when they shoved him in the cage, he came out dying. The police have already admitted that. Bottom line is thhat was on their watch. It has nothing to do with Freddie’s past, his current potential use of drugs, or anything else. He wasn’t charged with this. Nothing justifies these six cops killing him. Now they can pay for his death.
