Depending on whom you ask, “Jade Helm 15” is either a domestic military training exercise or a covert operation for the federal government to take over the state of Texas – and 2016 presidential candidate Ted Cruz just became the latest Republican to fan the flames of the latter theory.
Speaking at the South Carolina Republican Party’s annual convention Saturday, the Texas senator told Bloomberg’s David Weigel that his office had contacted the Pentagon about the exercise, which officially consists of a series of training drills throughout the Southwest for about 1,200 special operations personnel, including Green Berets and Navy SEALs. Conspiracy theorists operating on the fringes of the conservative blogosphere, however, have other ideas about what the exercise, known as Jade Helm 15, is intended to do – such as implement martial law, seize Americans’ guns, and imprison political dissidents.
Rather than squash those theories outright, Cruz apparently decided it was better to be safe than sorry.
“My office has reached out to the Pentagon to inquire about this exercise,” he said. “We are assured it is a military training exercise. I have no reason to doubt those assurances, but I understand the reason for concern and uncertainty, because when the federal government has not demonstrated itself to be trustworthy in this administration, the natural consequence is that many citizens don’t trust what it is saying.”(continued)

I haven’t had time to follow all posts to this thread. My thoughts are...YOU GO TED!. I absolutely do not trust this administration. The government we have now is suspect. Most people I react with think the same.

One way that the Statists could eliminate resistance is with a false-flag operation (or an allowed incident) to justify locking down some area [maybe a county or a city] to include controlling comms. In such a situation, it would be easy to make particular people disappear. The horrendous beauty of this sort of plan is that only a very small core of people need to know/instigate/execute the true objectives of the mission.
Tom Clancy did something similar with Clear and Present Danger where a weapons-testing exercise was used to support/hide what was essentially assassination via 500lb bomb air-dropped but made to look like a car-bomb.
I learned it from watching my cat do something stupid while I drank soda, carbonized drinks do wonders for your sinus cavities.

Long ago, I was a lowly, enlisted-type Bravo (B: combat soldier) in the Guard and participated in such exercises when George H. W. Bush was in office. Parts of the exercises were done on public property in cities. We were publicly visible at times but did not trespass or use noisy simulators in suburbs.
As a common, ordinary American, I’m not fooled by insane, contemporary political speech from any of the socialist special interests. The more of it we see, the more we see the lack of integrity and real weakness in those special interests. The default process and instigations of violence brought by the avarice, growing hatreds and consequent fears of those special interests will be their undoing.
They know there’s isis on the border. All they have to do is tell them is to lock the area down. then Barrys crew can come in and do whatever they like.
Military need no no more than establish initial control then leave. And never once receive illegal orders to question.

You better hire lots of the military back that Barry shitcanned because you’ll need them. On day 1 I would be issuing subpenas for every single liberal in the united states and trust me, they would be seeing EXACTLY what we are talking about WHEN they refused to comply.

This is good. I haven’t heard any other politician even bring up the subject. Even though I don’t believe in the conspiracy theories.
