State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.

Six officers, including a lieutenant and a sergeant, have been suspended after the incident. Gray suffered a spinal injury and died after riding in a police transport van that made several stops.

On Thursday, Baltimore’s police officials said they turned over their initial report to prosecutors — a day earlier than expected.

They are going to do everything to cover up the fact that the Mayor knew of the practices and yet did nothing to stop it.

These are political statements, not legal statements. That is worrisome.

Worrisome? How about down right "chill wind" frightening? Its out and out Roland Frieseler scary.

Re-donning tin foil hat:

1) APRIL 17, 2015, Obama to Senate: 'Enough. Call Loretta Lynch for a vote.'

2) APRIL 23, 2015, Senate Confirms Loretta Lynch as Attorney General After Long Delay

3) APRIL 27, 2015, Riots erupt across West Baltimore, downtown

VOILA!!!

Removing tin foil hat.

wow.. that picture captures her attitude I was remarking on perfectly.

We were just discussing that.

She does seem to have that typical black, "Chip on the shoulder, you owe me" demeanor in this image.

Who is rushing to judgment?

Freddie Gray is dead. How did he die? Who caused his death?

Fair questions, it would seem.

Leftist tribunal court.

Since when did due process of law become "leftist"?

Freddie Grey broke his back in the police van.

Read somewhere else that he had back surgery recently.

If true, that’s a big ? regarding otherwise breaking his back in the van.

....”Her ‘announcement’ was playing to the mob”....

Perhaps so...but she was certainly “Posturing” throughout. Imo her tone of delivery was certainly revealing where she stands regarding this case....that justice has already been served because they are charged.

That has been debunked.

My point was you don’t have to go all they way back to the 60s for some of the biggest, most violent events in our history.

In fact domestically, what occurred in ‘92 made the 1960s seem tame.

I had a business in downtown LA at the time. It was only 2 years after the Northridge earthquake.

Other way around. The L.A. Riots were end of April, 1992. Northridge Quake was January 1994. I know because I was packed up to move from my place in the Miracle Mile area when the riots happened, and I thought it probably wasn't a good weekend to drive a truck with all my possessions around town, and I was living at my new place in the Hollywood Hills when Northridge happened.

It looks like someone doctored a lead paint settlement to look like a car crash settlement. i dont see any places that are still passing the back surgery thing as true, and I can find quite a few fairly impartial sites saying it was a hoax to fool people.

Of course....

I wasn’t comfortable about her delivery....the posturing was too obvious as was her body language as she spoke. Too much like these officers are guilty now... because they’re being charged by ‘her’ office. But then maybe that’s normal behavior when there’s a stage and audience.

“My question therefore, is how can they rule this as a homicide?”

Because:

1. The police violated their own procedures which require prisoners to be secured with seat belts when placed in a police transport vehicle.

2. There is evidence that the police took the man on a so-called ‘nickel ride’ given that what should have been a 10-15 minute drive to the jail took over 40 minutes. There is also surveillance video of the van driving at excessive speed on a city street.

3. Gray can be heard on recordings requesting medical assistance twice and BPD regulations reportedly require at least a welfare check.

4. This is my opinion here: If the injuries are consistent with a vehicle collision, yet the police van suffered no damage and no unusual events were reported by the officers driving the van then what happened that would have caused those injuries? That looks suspicious to me, don’t you see it that way, too?

In any case, the coroner did not find that the injuries were self-inflicted so I hope that the BS story going around that Gray severed his own spinal cord stops.

the Supreme Court found that flight’s relation to probable cause must “be assessed in context with all of the circumstances surrounding it.”

It looks like your "conscience" needs a better conscience to correct you.

From below "the Supreme Court found that flight’s relation to probable cause must 'be assessed in context with all of the circumstances surrounding it.'"

According to the following the police may have recognized gray as a chronic offender. A look out called out that police were coming. And then Gray ran.

and with the long criminal record of the deceased, perhaps he was on probation and not allowed to be carrying a knife?
