Marc Rich changed his citizenship to avoid US taxes. There is in my mind nothing wrong with that - the US government disagrees.
The Marc Rich pardon was one of the few things the Clintdog did that is defensible. You should not be considered a tax cheat if you give up your citizenship to avoid the taxes in the country where you live. What is a crime is that he had to bribe a president to avoid prosecution for something that it should not be illegal to do.
We need to amend the constitution so that his corporations and Warren Buffet’s are not people and cannot give huge amounts of money to politicians. Also how did they ever conceive of money as speech? Move to Amend is good for all us little guys.

This is and always has been the case in this country. It is no different now than at the time of the Constitution. Back then it was pamphlets and newspaper articles. Today it is Internet and mass market communications.Only the means have changed not the need for the money to disseminate the message.

I think you need to educate yourself on Marc Rich a little more. The tax evasion was not the only charge. He was also charged with trading with Iran during the oil embargo by hiding ownership of oil. He paid a $200 million civil fine for it.
There are better people to defend than this scumbag.

Prediction: A way will be found so Soros does not pay a penny of this.

Oh come on, you have not learned yet that the laws, especially the tax laws, don’t apply to powerful liberals?
That is why they never object to high taxes, they just don’t pay them.
Elites don’t fear the irs, they do not get arrested, and they don’t face an honest judge till they face Christ.
