Baltimore police say one of the fire department's hoses has been cut by rioters as firefighters are attempting to put out the fire at the CVS store.

President Barack Obama has spoken with Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake about the ongoing rioting situation in Baltimore. President will "provide assistance as needed."
6:32 p.m.
Firefighters are responding to a CVS store on Pennsylvania Avenue and North Avenue after smoke is seen coming from inside the store. It is the same store looting was seen earlier in the day.
6:24 p.m.
Attorney: Freddie Gray's family "in shock" watching the violence in Baltimore and are urging calm.
6:20 p.m.
After consulting with police, the Baltimore Orioles have postponed their game against the Chicago White Sox scheduled for 7:05 p.m. Monday.
6:16 p.m.
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has put the Maryland National Guard "on alert so they can be in position to deploy rapidly as needed."

Group of people are seen looting a check-cashing store on Pennsylvania Avenue and Fulton Avenue.

FOX 5's Rick Boone reports City Hall has been placed on lockdown.

Republican Gov stepping up to do what the Democrats are refusing to do.
You would be wrong. The governor had to wait until the mayor requested the help. In much the same way that President Bush had to wait until the governor of Louisiana made a formal request for federal help.

The governor delayed the request until after H3llary and the DNC had a teleconference with the Governor. Then, they waited.
They waited long enough to make 3,000 dead people the cost of the Presidency and the rise of their power.

Theres the rubn right there, earlier Stephanie dearest said that the protestors should be left free to destroy. Obviously this is the leftest role of the cadres of leftist Baltimore/Washington radicals who promote and incite riot pursunat to community organizers, likely from the Obama campaign.. Now if the black folk begin to “lose “ in their fight for equal “right” ( really they are just thugs)then Obama will send in the feds if Stephanie asks for them.
Let the revolution proceed! Burn down Baltimore...federalize all State and local police departments!( This is what its all about.)Fascism being born as we speak.
Apparently violence, vandalism, and looting are all acceptable ways for blacks to “protest”.

Random thoughts on the passing Baltimore scene....
1. Horrible for our new Repub gov to be put in this position. He has tried to hang back but (hopefully) now might put some more pressure on the “local” situation.
2. Rawlings-Blake, for whom I have had some grudging respect, really screwed up with her “let’s give them some space for destruction” comments. Never mind her typical-modern-day-Dem “containment” scheme, rather than guns blazing.
3. These scum....I can’t even begin.
4. What of the greatest hospitals in the world? Johns Hopkins is already in the red zone as it is, and UM is surrounded, and the trauma center there will be both overrun by this “protest” itself...what of people outside Baltimore who need Shock Trauma now? Will Medevac get in? These scum.....
5. Just the other week I drove our young son right through Baltimore as the best route to get to our doctor, he was excited to see the stadia, the Constellation, the other museum ships (as well as the Aquarium which he saw a few years back). A few days later we went and parked downtown at the harbor and visited the Science Center. All around Easter. Now, that is hellhole.
6. Must be breaking my mother’s heart, even as she is angry about it. Baltimoron by birth and raising, loved it, before those other riots.
I heard much earlier about Park Heights and Reisterstown. That is far from city center.
Maryland Jockey Club must LOVE this. Even getting close to Preakness. Will be fun, even more than usual. Poor horses - living around that gunfire.
