STEPHANOPOULOS FLOORED AS GINGRICH, BLOOMBERG EDITORS DETAIL SERIOUSNESS OF ‘CLINTON CASH’
Breitbart Big Journalism ^ | 26 Apr 2015 | Written by Matthew Boyle

The former public face of Bill Clinton’s White House—and current host of ABC News’ This Week—George Stephanopoulos was floored as two prominent journalists and the Republican Speaker of the House from his Clinton days, Newt Gingrich, laid out for him just how bad the “Clinton Cash” book is for his old bosses.

During the show’s roundtable panel after Clinton Cash author Peter Schweizer appeared on the show for a lengthy interview, Stephanopoulos teamed with Democratic strategist Donna Brazile in an attempt to discredit Schweizer. But it started with Stephanopoulos making a shocking admission: Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign wouldn’t send out any official surrogates or spokespeople to defend her on this scandal.

“Donna, I got to talk to you first—I know you’re close to the Clinton team—they did not want to put anybody out to talk about this book today even though we asked, and you just saw Peter Schweizer there,” Stephanopoulos said to Brazile. “What do you make of his allegations generally but also his specific allegation that he makes that there are undisclosed donations to the Clinton Foundation from foreign charities?”

Brazile admitted she doesn’t know what’s in the book. Yet, without having read it, she proceeded to drop a series of rhetorical attacks on Schweizer. She also offered the Clinton campaign advice on how to attempt to get past Clinton Cash.

I rarely watch George's pathetic Sunday morning show, but I made it a point to watch it this morning just to see his treatment of this author. I also knew that Speaker Gingrich was scheduled to appear, so the big surprise were the two from the WSJ!

WHACK!

Old, and I do mean OLD, Donna Brazierre tried her level best to defend and defleck, but she failed miserably.

George remains a Clinton sychophant and a democrat shill.

Some newsman huh? LOL.

And do not think that Barry OR VJ has forgotten that crack.

“ABC should be ashamed for hiring a hard core Clintonista in the first place, Very unseemly”

Ashamed???? They (as do all of the MSM)take great pride in being able to hire any Democratic Presidential henchmen.

Stephie had the gall to accuse Schweizer of being Partisan because he once advised GWB and Sarah Palin.

Stephanopolis who was the Communications Director for the Clintons accuses someone else of Partisan-ship?

That was well worth watching. Newt was great.

Man, I'd love to have him back as Speaker of the House. Compare him to our mealy-mouthed congressional leaders.

No, no kidding. 56K dialup modem, currently running at 49.2 Kbps. No high-speed out here in the country. Satellite, IMHO, is way too expensive for what you get.

I depend heavily on Ad Block Plus to filter a lot of the garbage like Taboola, etc. For particularly graphic intense web site that take forever to load, I use ADB custom filter feature and add my own filters.

Also use Ghostery to trap trackers.

No high-speed out here in the country.

As I recall it, there have been fees added to our telephone landline service (ATT) several times so that Obama could provide low-cost high-speed Internet to all Americans. (A car in every pot. A chicken in every garage.)

And so far, all that's happened is lots of people who don't need it get a free cellphone to abuse or give to their kids.

This socialism isn't very fair so far.

I agree with you about the beating computers take from Breitbart so I don’t go there either. I watched the video and was reminded of this. Yes, I do remember it. Here’s a Republican who was fired for a minor infraction of the rules in the fifties OVER A COAT and a RUG - NOT MILLIONS OF DOLLARS.

Sherman Adams, Chief of Staff to Eisenhower:

Adams was pressured to resign in 1958, when a House subcommittee revealed Adams had accepted an expensive vicuña overcoat and oriental rug[2] from Bernard Goldfine, a Boston textile manufacturer who was being investigated for Federal Trade Commission violations. Goldfine, who had business with the federal government, was cited for contempt of Congress when he refused to answer questions regarding his relationship with Adams.[3] The story was first reported to the public by muckraking journalist Jack Anderson.

And they still remain ignorant of the issues! No excuse for that!!

No use sending you links to video streaming...

I save up those links sent to me. Once a month or so I take my notebook into town, get some hi-speed WiFi and look at all the links.

I agree with your thoughts on additions to the phone bill. Bellsouth could supply us with DSL, but they are off chasing Uverse. Much better ROI.

ABC is just another liberal propaganda arm. PROPAGANDA! Don't expect actual journalism
My theory is that any journalism which claims to be objective - not limiting itself to claiming to try to be objective, but claiming actually to be objective - is propaganda.

Do you mean that because UVerse is coming to you eventually one-day maybe, BellSouth (ATT) won’t provide even the 6 Meg service to you NOW?

Perhaps I misunderstood.

(I tried to switch from cable Internet (60/4) to $20 DSL but that lasted less than a week. Ate crow and crawled back.)
