Racial protests supposed to be peaceful quickly turned into violent riots on Saturday evening, closing down the city of Baltimore for some time—and creating a panic for thousands of people as just 50 miles away elites in Washington partied with President Barack Obama at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Personally, I wasn’t supposed to be on the job tonight as a reporter. After a long news week and as several of my contemporaries lived high on the hog down in D.C. at the so-called “Nerd Prom,” me and my brother left D.C. to go see our Boston Red Sox play the Baltimore Orioles at Oriole Park at Camden Yards I hate the White House Correspondents’ Dinner—it represents everything I think is wrong with Washington, making celebrities out of news media and politicians—and given the fact I grew up just outside Boston I figured seeing the Red Sox play in Baltimore would be a great reprieve from the political culture. Boy was I wrong.
My brother and I arrived in Baltimore just outside Camden Yards about an hour before the game, and went into Bullpen Bar—one of three iconic all-brick building bars right outside the stadium—for a beer before the Sox took on the O’s. I usually make it up here for a game or two every year, and have always found Orioles fans to be pleasant...

Well, actually, if he got down on his knees, he would not have so far to fall before hitting the ground. But, as long as Whites tolerate it, it will continue to happen. And as long as Whites continue to tolerate, one must assume that they like it.
Great idea! The last thing these people need to do under these circumstances is to get boozed up!

If you normalize the statistics to take into account the relative sizes of the populations, Here are the numbers that reflect the real magnitude of Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime:
Furthermore, if you narrow the statistics shown above on violent assault (GENERAL VIOLENT ASSAULT) to a specific type of violent assault (IN THE CASE BELOW, VIOLENT AGGRAVATED ASSAULT) , the statistics that Black-on-White versus White-on-Black VIOLENT ASSAULT crime take on an entirely different magnitude:
When one looks at these statistics, one can only reach the same conclusion that Bill Whittle did in his video:
"Oh, there's an epidemic of racial violence in America, all right."
Bill Whittle further accurately states:
"Critics will say that I am using these statistics to justify the murder of Michael Brown. But I said at the beginning – if Michael Brown were shot in cold blood then the police officer needs to pay the price for murder. This has nothing to do with Michael Brown. This has EVERYTHING to do with the narrative that the President, the Attorney General, and all of these race hustlers are trying to create using Michael Brown.
There is, in fact, a racial war of violence and hatred in America. I was just about to point him out. It’s almost as if he’s wondering if he filled Fido’s water bowl before he left home. Not a care in the world.
No, and unfortunately it is indicative of the the "me" first culture that is so pervasive in our culture.
Exactly the scam underway. The really greedy 1% ers ( Kennedys, Clintons, John Kerry, etc. - while we're at it Bill Ayres and Michael Moore have pretty cushy lifestyles) love this sort of thing.
It's like starting a fire in front of a store as a distraction, then stealing stuff out the back.
What cause is that? The cause of convincing people that the Justice Department statistics on violent crime are wrong: A culture of misery, brutality and death.
"Supposed" by whom? What brain-dead moron would believe that these "protests" were EVER going to be "peaceful?"
These were riots, plain and simple. Mob actions designed to force a certain conclusion in an investigation. Just like the Swisher Saint and "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" Brown.
Justice is being coerced by organized thugs supported by a racist administration. It's as simple as that.
The tension in the city then was electric.
An armed guard insisted on escorting me from the hospital to the motel across the street where I was staying. He said that I would be mugged if he didn't and that he could see a man waiting in the darkness to do just that.
One day I went downtown alone for lunch and to see the city. I was the only white person in the restaurant. That was no problem for me; I had been the only white person in many situations and was completely comfortable with that. However, the looks and the hostility of the black people were palpable. I was more curious than anything else and did not feel particularly threatened, but I had never felt anything like that before.
When I left the restaurant and waited for a taxi, I seemed to be the only white person within view. No one bothered me, but I felt hostility everywhere.
I got into a taxi. A well dressed white woman was already in there. She looked around and felt the hostility too. She said to me: "I'm for equality and civil rights and all that, but this is ridiculous."
I don't know whether that mood has persisted in Baltimore since then or whether it was a passing atmosphere due to some event that had occurred at that time, but I have never felt racial tension anywhere like I did then.
