A producer for Ruptly, a video news service run by RT (formerly Russia Today), was robbed on camera while filming the violent protests in Baltimore overnight.
The dramatic video shows the female victim first surrounded and harassed by a group of youths, who rapidly grow bolder reaching out at her, all the while hurling a stream of vulgarity and ranting about the police. She is then clearly physically attacked by the group. As the video stabilizes you see that the producer is chasing the thieves down the street trying to retrieve her stolen bag before the intervention of the Baltimore police.
The protests in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray while in custody turned into violent riots overnight Saturday into Sunday morning. So much so that 30,000 people were locked down in Camden Yards. As Twitchy notes, at the time of the lockdown President Obama was delivering jokes to the mainstream media and assorted celebrities about a half hour away.
Toward the end of the video, the woman who was robbed can be heard sobbing as she continues to film.

I remember Kent State. A perfect example of agitators making a news event and then disappearing. Agitators came onto campus. They burned down the school gym and ROTC office. Then they threw rocks at firemen trying to put out the flames.
Next day they throw rocks at a bunch of new national guard recruits. They fire over the heads of the crowd, not understanding Newton’s law. Kids several hundred yards away are hit. But they bleed out with no ambulance coming. After the rocks from the night before they refused to come until the police secured the area. Buy then 4 students were dead.
Work having been done. The agitators left for other colleges.
I guess bawlmor is going to have to rethink the “Charm City” thingee.
“Just an excuse for feral types to run around breaking/stealing things and assaulting people.”......
Just Street Rats doing what they do. Why would anyone want to ever go to Baltimore?
My daughter graduated from Johns Hopkins last year. I was happy to see her leave the city. Nice school. Bad neighborhood. Of course lots of good schools are in terrible cities. Yale for instance.
“I guess it may be illegal to run from police.”
His family’s “lawyer” said in a radio interview yesterday that, “as far as I know, FELONY FLEEING isn’t against the law”. I’m still trying to figure that one out.
Thanks. I agree.
The Obama Nation!! Fine outstanding thugs.
That one makes no sense. But when he was running from police. It was the running that got their attention. They did not stop him and he started running. My understanding was he was running and that made the police chase him. I don’t think he was stopped and then fled. I think he was just a guy running away from the police.
Street savages. Liberal reporters who think they are safe going out among the savages soon find out that the poor, downtrodden, misunderstood victims are really just savages.
Freddie Gray who? These feral thugs don’t even know what they are protesting. It’s just a chance to loot and cause mayhem.
Justice Allah, 30, who is with Black Lawyers for Justice, said the goal of the protest is to call attention to the problem of killings by police officers.
“We’re tired of this, what is going on with this police department,” Allah said. “We’re tired of our mayor turning a blind eye.”
Justice Allah??..
That's a pretty bold assertion. Do you have proof of that? Or are you making it up because it sounds plausible?
Anyone makes an accusation like that should have proof, real proof, that it is happening.

A preview of what’s coming soon to a city near you. Or your city.
This is EXACTLY how I feel, down to the wording. You know if conservatives and/or whites did this kind of rioting, they’d be shot in the streets. And PLENTY of black lives are taken, every day. EVERY DAY! and nothing is said. It’s ok to murder and destroy if you are black.
I like that cartoon, gets the facts across succinctly.
She’s lucky she wasn’t gang raped with the vid plastered on their Facebook pages.
