Was it “organic” milk? It kills me watching all these health food nuts paying 3 - 4 times the normal price for something that hardly appears to be any healthier for you than the regular run of the mill stuff. Don’t they know our body processes it the same and that it all comes out looking and smelling the same?...: )

Get ready.

Raw milk stories on FR bring some hearty disagreements.

Yeah, raw milk likely has real cream floating on top of it. Homo milk isn't worth drinking.

Doesn’t hurt bad enough to dissuade from the lawsuit lottery for Darwinism...

I got a cure for that. /s

And so do those farmers’ sons if they know the jerk.

Importantly, Pasteurization does *not* sterilize milk, which would chemically alter the milk and make it taste bad. Instead, Pasteurization *reduces* the number of living bacteria in the milk. This is why milk must be refrigerated, to slow down the recovery of the bacteria in it.

UHT, or Ultra High Temperature, or “flash” Pasteurization, kills off enough bacteria so that milk can be unrefrigerated for several months. But it still causes chemical changes.

You can pasteurize without homogenizing.

Yeah, if it's skim milk. Who does that anyway?

I believe that raw milk in CA is required to have large warning labels about the bacterial content.

If he’s dumb enough to drink it anyway, despite the warnings, he shouldn’t get a penny. OTOH, financially hitting the con men who convince people that raw milk has magical properties has a certain appeal to it.

"Homo milk isn't worth drinking."

Hey, A$$holes, Did you ever stop to think that EVERYONE drank raw milk and ate raw cheese up until about 75 years ago?

If you were smart enough to know about GLa's and their importance to you're health, you would seek and consume these products.

And it was yummy! Especially when the cow had been grazing on wild onions!

I though because milk was born homogenized, it could not be unhomogenized and many states are banning the attempts to unhomogenize.

Drank raw goats milk for over 20 years. You just have to maintain healthy animals and have sanitary milk handling processes. Our daughter drank it from the tender age of 24 hours old. She was healthy as a horse, strong bones and teeth. Beautiful skin. Never had an ear infection.
