Mitch McConnell is in revenge mode. If conservatives are against something, he is going to make sure it gets passed. If they are for something, he will stymie it.

He DEEPLY resents that he was challenged last year and that he had to spend so much of his precious campaign account (slush fund) just to get renominated. He got all his faithful minions reelected and is out for blood.

Another example of why supporting the Republican Party is wasted effort.

I can't count how many times I have read that conservatives should work from within and take over the Republican Party and no matter how many Tea Party Types and/or Conservatives we elect on the promise of change and drawing a line in the sand it never happens.

I now just hang up when the party calls for money. I now wonder if we should not move to a Parliamentary System of government.

“As attorney general, Eric Holder too often put political and ideological commitments ahead of the rule of law. That’s not something the American people expect in the nation’s highest law-enforcement official, and it’s something Mr. Holder’s replacement should commit to avoiding at all costs as a condition of his or her confirmation — whether it relates to the President’s acting unilaterally on immigration or anything else.”

Mitch McConnell

The GOP has lost it. The conservative base helped give them the majority because of statements like this and once in office they have told us to “F” off.

People must not have been listening.

McConnell told conservatives to go to hell well before they went out and reelected him.

Don’t be mad at him if you voted for him, the blame falls squarely on you.

My e-mail to Senator Portman:

What a disappointment and sellout you have become Senator Portman! I’ve donated to your campaign in the past and I really feel now it’s money down the drain as you vote lockstep with the RINO’s in the republican party. Loretta Lynch is a terrible candidate for Attorney General. She will uphold the Constitution NO MORE than Eric Holder did as he ran all over it during his tenure as AG. I suppose you are high fiving Eric Holder now as he prepares for a Supreme Court seat with your blessing...Does the Democrat party have something on you that made you waste your vote for this liberal hack? You’ve obviously lost your moral values in DC. You should be ashamed...

It was basically a vote to get rid of Holder and probably worth it...The Obama admin. is on its last legs and she can do little, if any, harm.

I wish the Republican Party would fight at least half as hard against the Democrats as it does against it’s own base.

If Jeb gets the nomination, it will be time for a third party. With Jeb as our nominee, we lose when we win.

"Mitch McConnell to Conservatives: Drop Dead. "

Conservatives to Mitch McConnell: You First.

"He DEEPLY resents that he was challenged last year"

Well we DEEPLY resent that our country is being systematically destroyed while he and Boehner do absolutely NOTHING to stop it.

I am so disappointed that the people of KY reelected this low-life scum bag. Nothing we can do now except hope that he gets a brain aneurysm and drops dead. The sooner the better.

MM believes that the courts will shut down executive amnesty. Senate machinations are complicated. There was the human trafficking bill and the filibuster. This nominee will only be in office 21 months.
I hope this doesn’t inspire another primary that ends up giving us a bearded Marxist. If it ends up giving us a new Senator who doesn’t vote for someone like Loretta Lynch, good. If it results in a bearded Marxist, bad.

“In moving the Lynch nomination McConnell broke a pre-election promise that no attorney general nominee would be considered in his Senate if that nominee supported Obama’s executive amnesty, something that Lynch testified she supports.”

I would be interested in finding out whether Mitch truly made this pledge. This could be another stretch of the truth which pisses off, justifiably, Mitch.
