Wait t’il the linertarians get spun by liberals and start their Opium war on America...

I am sick and tired of the new generation of ignorant statist idiots who pushe their opinions on other states cia the federal.

Of course poll taking like this by the liberal media is precisely tailored to mold us into that mindset, as if it was a question!?

The whole question is pointed as an opinion of direct democracy for big government, when it should be a matter of the State. Who cares if the majority in America is for gay rights, WHEN the majority might be all holed up in NYC, Chicago and LA.

Last I heard we are not a direct democracy, but these polls seem to suggest that we are a Federal direct democracy.

Bears repeating.

I assume you’re speaking of a scenario along the lines of one I read here recently where a guy married his male fishing buddy to make sure that his possessions didn’t end up going to his ex-wife and kids.

There was a time in America where 6 in 10 thought slavery was okay. Well it wasn’t. Neither is homosexual marriage.

There's one difference.

Slavery was real.

Very Good. You’ve done some homework.

But your homework is incomplete.

Therefore you get an ‘F’.

But I will help you complete your assignment.

You listed 12 states,

The other 38 states either amended their state constitutions, voted state laws to define marriage as between one man and one woman, voted down initiatives to recognize same-sex marriage or refused to recognize same-sex marriage licenses of other states.

38 States!

THat’s enough right there to pass an Amendment to the US Constitution.
