Stoking the class wars... You know, I am surely not in the top 1% and I don't sit around saying those people don't deserve it and they should be crucified.
I'm happy with what my wife and I have.

She wants them to give it all to her camppain.

But not, apparently, the .01 percent to which Hillary and her pals belong.

Is she planning on giving away all but $35,000 per year of her own money?
If not, she should STFU.

One of the world’s richest women. But she keeps most of it stashed away in Switzerland and elsewhere.
She used to be Bill Clinton’s bag lady when he was getting his 5% cut of latino drug money. She flew to Switzerland regularly with a large diplomatic bag that sailed through customs unopened.

It’s not a problem for him. Clinton does not consider him part of the 1%.
ONLY conservatives and/or republicans are eligible for membership in the 1%.

Well, when I think that she, Bill and Chelsea are the top 1%, I confess that fantasy of seeing those three toppled is very attractive.
But nice of her to display that she knows absolutely nothing about economics (or general prosperity or liberty or the Constitution or transparency or foreign policy or . . . you get the point).

Most of those politicians who bring it up make 250,000 or more per year, so most of them who talk about class are around or in the 1 percent. I wonder how much Hillary racked in on her latest paid speech?
To: TangledUpInBlue
Either she’s among the most cynical people on earth, or she’s insane. Perhaps both.
First, she and Bill, and Chelsea are ALL in the 1%!
Second, so are all her Hollyweird friends, Mike Bloomberg, 90% of Congress, basically the entire glitterati and ruling elites!
She’s worse than the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland.

I guess the 1% in the United States these days is like the Kulak farmer in Russia back in the 1920s and 30s.

Did she actually use that word, "toppling?" This has to be part of a well-orchestrated extortion campaign. Otherwise, it represents some of the worst class-warfare I've heard in my nearly 50 years. To openly suggest that those with wealth must be punished or "toppled" just baffles me. Even taking all the wealth from the "1%," what would you get at the end of the day? Certainly not enough to give to the poor. You would not change much.
I too, am happy with what I have, and I'm nowhere near the 1%. But I recognize that this is an attack against anyone with any perceieved success. We'd better stick up for the 1%, because at some point, they'll come after the next 10%, and the next 10% after that. Eventually, they'll get to us.
