Obama gives amnesty to known gang member, possibly 20 others

The administration granted amnesty to at least one known gang member under President Obama’s program for Dreamers, and as many as 20 others may also have been approved, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee revealed Tuesday.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the agency charged with approving amnesty applications, admitted it broke its own rules in approving the gang member for tentative legal status, agency chief Leon Rodriguez said in a letter to Sen. Charles E. Grassley.

“Based on standard procedures and processes in place at the time, the [deferred action] request and related employment authorization should not have been approved,” Mr. Rodriguez said in admitting the error.

He said the immigrant’s status was revoked — but only after Mr. Grassley pushed the issue.

The agency said another 20 immigrants with potential gang ties have also been approved, and officers are now going back and trying to figure out whether rules were broken in those cases as well. Mr. Rodriguez said his officers will also face retraining so they know which applications to deny.

It might take more than that.. starting with the federal government keeping HONEST statistics about ILLEGAL ALIEN crimes.

I wanted to use federal data and include ILLEGAL alien crime but as a very informative study (Effects of Illegal Immigration Upon Crime In the United States) pointed out

"[T]he United States government does not readily keep statistics with regard to crimes committed by illegal immigrants. . . there exists a legal obligation [on federal agencies] . . . to report accurately [; e.g.,] the Office of Immigration Statistics, the Bureau of Justice Statistics, and the Government Accountability Office . . . the agencies [provide] raw statistical data with regard to incarcerations, criminal removals (deportations) and arrest information involving illegal immigrants [but as for data on] nationwide criminal prosecutions and convictions of illegal immigrants . . . no such information is kept and reported by the government . . . [in fact illegal alien crimes regularly result in] the criminal removal process rather than prosecuted with the intent to incarcerate them.

So as far as the feds go it appears that do the crime and be asked to leave the country.. please -- but keep doin' that cheap labor and votin' Democrat until you do, OK? Maybe good ol' Uncle Sam will be fooled into sayin' you can stay!
